I see a few small things they did immediately, and I also see what you mean about her face but it seems like they got the aspect ratio a tad off--hence the "elongating" of her face-- and then added a coloring that emphasized the "plastic" feel of the few changes. Maybe I'm wrong, though.

Tatler suck as choosing pictures, that photo of her laughing/smiling is kind of terrifying when you look at it for a while. It really highlights her bad eyeliner.

well , the duchess doesnt look so healthy ! specially since the wedding , anyway she looks better now , and none of them look young , they're 29/30 and look like they're 39/40 !

In general she dresses nicely, not fashionably. Usually she is well groomed. I think she is sometimes too caught up with looking the part, or what she thinks is appropriate.

The beauty is in the eye of the beholder but I believe if a woman has some lines due to too much smiling, it isn't a bad thing. She radiates and this is what transpires...
I happen to have those myself and I find some comments very judgemental that you think it makes her look old. *just like some people frown so much they have frown lines by the age of 25.
the alternative would be that we all have botox from the age of 20 then nobody could make such comments on anyone ever. Would that be better?

^I totally agree. People keep pointing out every other page that she (and William) look soooo old, ten years older and stuff...Seriously isn't that slightly excessive (let alone rude) ? Would you REALLY think Kate is 40 if you didn't know her and met her in the street ? It would never occur me. Apart from William's baldness, I think they look their age. That said, her style is indeed old fashioned.

Ugh. This why I loathe photoshop and botox because it means any woman (young or old) who has lines on her face is always dismissed for not having a youthful looking face. While I have mixed feelings about Kate's fashion, I think her facial lines are just fine. And I don't think she looks older than her age.

^ THANK YOU, Vanessa! I feel the same way--she doesn't look older than she is, we've just gotten so used to plasticity in beauty. The rest of us should be so lucky as to photograph the way Kate does.

Kate, 30, is the February/March cover girl on the U.K.'s Scouting magazine after performing some private volunteer work with the scouts.

"Part of her role as a volunteer is to help out below the radar," says a source of Kate's work with the girl and boy scouts and their younger counterparts, the Beavers.

The scouts hope the duchess will help run a variety of activities relevant to her skills and interests, and she is likely to be popping into some groups' regular meetings near her home on Anglesey, North Wales, and elsewhere.
