Hilary Mantel has been attacked by David Cameron for her comments about Kate Middleton. Her piece is worth a read if you have the time.

I haven't read the entire piece but even from reading the extract that has been circulating around, it is quite obvious that it isn't a slam on Kate, it is more so a critique on the media and the people who have shaped her image.

Pregnancy really suits her.

^I agree, it's not personal it's more on what she represents and i completely agree. we all like Kate but her personality is now managed to the point that we'll never know the real Kate as she's become the new it girl for the British royals. It's sad that it's this way now.

It's not her job to win everyone over with her personality she doesn't have to show her personality to everyone. Her job in public is to represent british royals.
