the peel isn't irritating me, it's the part where it might get worst that worries me. One would imagine that Chloe would have fixed this problem for the new season. Gheez..

this peeling has constantly been a big issue.. for the amount we pay for the bag u'd think it'll at least last a year.. this is really making me worry... hope the bag will be fine when it arrives fr LVR. i've emailed them n ask them to check before sending.

so did you get the blue then? i'm sure it's gorgie! i love this season's blue too but i can't do pastels or blues....

Its really more of a muted color than a pastel. It is a muted light blue with a grey undertone, very neutral.

There is quite a bit of difference between the two. My vote is for Whiskey--it's very deep and rich. Tan doesn't do it for me but many people love it. Roey posted pics of the two colors next to each other and you can really see the difference. It's back many pages but try to check it out.

Now here's another question...are those pics of 2005 bags? My bag has just arrived in teh store, so I'm assuming its from teh new cllection with the new leather. Do you think it will look just as good in the whiskey? I'm ordering online so I can't tell what the leather looks like.

Which colour and size have you bought?

I vote for whisky as it's warmer than the tan IMO.

Whiskey is a 2006 color so that's what you're seeing. I have two 2005 bags and one 2006 (Whiskey). The leather is different but then it is a bit different between the two different 2005 bags as well (all bags vary a bit in terms of texture, wrinkles, shape). It's definitely more textured but I don't see it really as that different at all. Still super soft and nice!

I had ordered a tan Paddington and didn't love the color so I returned it and am now waiting on a pre-order in whiskey from NM. The tan just wan't the perfect color for me, I really like warm colors and like the russet undertone of the whiskey better.

Keeping my fingers crossed that my whiskey comes and is perfect and that I love it!

Well, now I'm totally confused. I really like the pic of the tan in the baby size. But almost everyone on this thread is rooting for whiskey!!! I wish I could see the bags in person to compare.

Is the tan from the first season totally different than the new tan color? Just curious as I have the first production tan and think it's a beautiful shade. I am not fond of the whiskey personally.

Is the new leather the more firm kind like the first season or more squishy and flexible? Thanks!
