Hey Leona lol I love the first season better, confirmed today wearing my grenat...can't help but admire it over and over. The leather is superior in the "now this feels like a bag!" sense. It feels more classic. I would go for last season leather if possible.

I think Chloe Sloane St must have sold the mini in whiskey...when I rang yesterday she said they only had silver metallic and wouldnt be getting any more in the plain leathers...

I saw the whisky mini and another mini (white? cant remember) in the Chloe counter in Harrods. They have got the whiskey tote as well.

I had the same problem where the lock and the loop were peeling badly revealing the shiny silver underneath.

I think the SA meant that if the lock is entirly shiny then it's an obvious fake.

Luckily the boutique I bought the bag from sent it back to paris who sent it to italy to get fixed. All in all it's taken about 6 weeks but it looks perfect now and there are no signs that a repair has been made - looks brand new! . Long wait but had to be done.

wow, they have your money but you won't have a bag for several weeks!

i would get my money back and buy a perfect bag, not a bag that needs to be fixed. do they take returns in that store? if we settle for bags of this quality, return them for repairs, we get what we settle for. just my opinion!

I had my paddy for 8 weeks and loved it but the leather on the zip came apart from the rectangular piece of leather that fits over the lock (doesf that makes sense !).Chloe in London said they could perhaps fix it the bag would be away for 6-8 weeks. I asked for a refund because I would always know it had been broken.bit fussy like that. The key and the lock had peeled as well. I was gutted but for the money the bag shouldn't fall apart.

I want a white paddy also and not the blanc/ivory that is out now. Do you know for certain that a pure white one will be available? If so, I'm going to call a Chloe store. TIA!

yes, at Bergdorfs NYC just a few days ago I saw like 4 shelves of paddys in all colours (incl. whiskey)! I also saw a couple at Chloe NYC!

at first we all thought the new white ones (like on lvr, or from boutiques) would be pure white.. the pictures looked like they were pure white.. cherie had photos from bahrain that looked pure white..

but when they got it, it looked more craie/creme..
it doesn't seem anyone has confirmed yet that there will be another true 'pure white' coming out.. since the s/s white is available already?

i kinda assumed that was it..

You are definitely right. The thing is, im the one who make the scratch on the rivet worse I must say here, that the quality of the Paddington is not GREAT. I also heard from someone that the stitches are not that good. Well, when all this will happen to my bag , I will never buy something from Chloe again.

Oh, I forgot to add....In the pictures you can see that the last season of the grenat 2005 leather is thicker than the whiskey 2006 one.
