Not sure where you are located but lots of Burlington Coat Factories carry the waterproofing spray.

I think we are all surprised at NAP still with lots available!!, especially after the last two seasons frenzy, though looking at the site today they have now sold out of both the black and the anthracite paddington's.

Hi! I have a Creme Paddington from previous seasons, but recently I saw one on NAP that's "offwhite". Then, I saw it in real life and saw that the leather for the new one is extremely pebbly. Mine's a smoother, more Nappa-like leather. I purchased mine off LVR a few seasons ago, and was wondering if anyone else noticed the same change in leathers!

SS05 - Vanilla
FW05 - Craie

Which colour do you have?

And then blanc was introduced for SS06...

The SS05 (Vanilla) leather was smooth. FW05 (Craie) leather was very pebblegrained, and is my personal favourite. The SS06 (Blanc) leather is smoother than the SS05 (Vanilla) leather, and very squishy. I have noticed the change from season to season. And I hope I have answered your question...

With the new stream of it bags, it is unlikely they will be in high demand. There's a lot of high-profile bags this season; Fendi B-Bag, Dior Gaucho, YSL Muse, Celine Clandestine and MJ Stam, which will finally achieve it status. It is not surprising that NAP hasn't sold out really...

Has anyone preordered the anthracite from LVR? I was curious about the price difference (1700 on NM and NAP but not on LVR) and they said it wasn't the same at the mini metallic anthracite - it was less shiny. Now..what color could this be? They didn't have a picture. Is there a less metallic anthracite? I'm so confused. Not that it much matters, I wont have the $ for awhile as it appears my lv buyer may be backing out I hate Mondays.

I just received Paddy in blanc color. It's not White at all...it's more like Creme or whitish beige color.... Completely different from White in Balenciaga bag. I'm not sure if I keep it or not, but it's pretty in different way. Now I have to make a decision, keep this paddy or get silverado in python....

Well, I'm no expert, but I just received the shopping tote in Anthracite from NAP. Before ordering, I went to the Chloe boutique in NYC to check the color. What I saw at Chloe was a lovely blue-grey-black color, more pearlescent than metallic, so I went ahead and ordered the bag; what I ended up getting from NAP was much shinier. In muted light it still picks up the lovely subtle blue tones, but it's definitely more metallic than the one I saw at Chloe, and not quite as nice in my opinion. Don't know if it's two separate finishes, or just different batches of the same finish.

It's still a beautiful bag -- I just wish it weren't so shiny. (And, frankly, so *heavy!*)

I was wondering, has anybody out there seen the LARGE paddington where I can purchase? I'm open to all colors I am really in love with the size but have a feeling I will not have much luck finding one.

Thanks, that is strange. I did see a tote on ebay (one of the ones that are $$ above retail but not sure if authentic) and it did look mighty shiny, much more so than the pics of the anthracite medium paddys I have seen. Maybe it is a batch thing? I'm so torn, especially since come this weekend I'll have enough $$

they've come out with a version with a shoulder strap on top of the original version. both were available at Holts where I got it.

I think the leather texture varies from bag to bag, not season to seaon. Both my tan and chocolate are from the a/w 05 season. The tan has more overall even texture than the chocolate; the texture is more like soft lines versus circled pebbling. The chocolate has a smooth front piece with very little texture - just fine lines - while the back and sides have much more circled pebbling. At first I didn't like it but now find it to be very unique.

My s/s 06 whiskey is extremely pebbled/textured and super even all over. I have another whiskey on order from Bergdorf online to compare the two which should be arriving in February. I am hoping it will have a better lock if nothing else.

The Nordstrom s/a who sold me my cream/blanc (should have it this week!) said the s/s 06 bags vary between being very textured and more smooth (but still textured) like Sugar's bag. For cream, I am hoping to get a more textured one so it doesn't show dirt as easily.

Mine is quite smooth. There's a big difference in the pebbled leather as it gets more wrinkly. Maybe you can compare mine against when others post their pebbled ones:
