new paddy in grey?

Hi I'm Hyze and i've just bought a paddy in grey. it's new colour (I think!) sort of a washed out black. It hasn't arrived yet, but I'm already suffering with huge amounts of shopper's guilt! It's the most i've ever spent, (gulps)

I'm not sure I can afford a bag like this if it's going to be out of fashion soon. do you think they've had their day, or will Phoebe Philo's departure makes them all the more desirable. I'm all worried!

I think that if you find the bag beautiful and you fell in love with the look and the craftsmanship,and that is why you've bought it,then wear it with pride and enjoy it. It'll be a classic pretty soon,I'm sure.I adore mine and always will.

Amalie and Quirky, you're both right on! It's too hard to constantly keep up with all the trends, not to mention expensive. It's all about loving the way the bag's looks.

The Paddy's had its day But let's say that even if it hadn't, its days would pass in a couple months anyways! So get it because you love it, not because it's the "It" bag. It bags are only it until the next best thing, which usually happens every 3 months.

I think the Paddy's a beautiful bag and I just love it! Of course, I love my B-bag too, but they each have their personalities and just appreciate them for what they are : GORGEOUS BAGS!

i just received my FIRST paddy fr LVR~.. although the website says blue clair, on the tag, it's jeans moyen! it's soooo gorgeous and super soft leather, smells 100% great! and not at all like the colour on LVR website btw.. no probs with it, no scratches on the hardware. =)

DHL is killing me ; yesterday they tried to deliver it at the wrong adress. Today I was told it would arrive at my adress, I've waited from 9 till 16 now, and it didn't come. Tomorrow and Thursday I work/study, so I won't be able to stay home and wait for it! argh. So, I'm not getting it until Friday (and then I just 'probably' get it, no guarantee I'll get it that day either). Come on, my baby's been in the country since last Thursday.. Come home paddy

Thanks, I do love the paddy! Unfortunatley I just gor mine in the new Dark Grey colour, but it looks kind of navy blue! not at all like it does on the net-a-porter site. I'm thinking of sending back, 'cause i wanted it to go with black.

Has anyone seen the grey washed noir colour? what do you think. this is my first one, and i can't afford to keep it if it's not exactly what i want....

Ugh, I'm so sad. I really wanted to get the anthracite from LVR since it's cheaper than elsewhere. So, I emailed them about it. Turns out their 'anthracite' isn't very metallic and has brass hardware Perhaps they have it confused with noir. I don't know. But I really wanted anthracite

I just received a new ivory/off white medium Paddington today and I LOVE it! It's the perfect shade of cream, not too "white" and looks lovely with everything. I had tried Paddy's before, in brown and black, but I wasn't impressed and they were misshapen and looked weird. But, this one is the perfect shape and color. A keeper! Now I see what all the fuss is about. Just thought I'd share since I am so excited
