Hi Everyone -

I'm new to the Chloe Paddington, but not new to pre-orders and waitlists
But, since I'm a Chloe newbie, could someone please tell me how to go about securing one of the new light blue Paddies? I see pre-ordering for other colors on the NM website, but I see the blue is already available on net-a-porter. Will this become more easily available in the US soon or should I buy from NAP? I know our local NM has the anthracite on display, available for purchase, so I'm confused as to whether these bags are really that hard to get or not??

I saw the light blue paddy at Saks, Atlanta less than a week ago. It is an absolutely GORGEOUS color - much better IRL. CALL THEM QUICK!

I just cannot see the paddington ever going to wait list again . They are very readiliy available in London, and all of them displayed on the shelves, you do not even have to enquire about them any more. The must have factor is effectively over as more and more are produced, which is great news if you want the bag because you love it, not because it is hard to come by.

Here's another random thought from the Paddingon Queen, LOL! I took the smooth whiskey bag out in daylight this morning and even though it looks the same color as the pebbled bag in my photos (taken at night), in daylight and under flourescent light, the smooth bag has more orange than the pebbled bag. It is not as deep and rich in coloring. It appears the dye doesn't take as well to the smoother leather. I never would have noticed this if I didn't have both bags to compare; I would think it is how the whiskey is supposed to look. I remember the first thing I noticed about my pebbled bag is how much better the whiskey color looks in real life than in photos, so much richer. Well, this smooth bag reminds me of the picture of whiskey on the Neiman Marcus website - more orange-y.

Add to that if I switch locks on the bags, the leather wrap on the smooth bag lock does not match the color of the pebbled bag. So, I spent $1500 to figure out my plan to switch locks was not a good one. Back this baby goes!!

And on a different note, my blanc Paddington is on the DHL courier for delivery today! I left a note to leave the package at the back door and hope they comply.

Hmm that's wierd! just last week i was looking for a cream paddy for my friend. i saw a few of them in chloe london .. i went back 2 days later and they were gone! only one black left ... i had to order it from netaporter and even THAT was "among the last few" ...

Thank you again for ladies who gave me advise, whether to return Blanc Paddy(and keep Whiskey).

I finally made a decision, and taking Blanc back to NM today, and buy Red Chanel instead. I have a pile of bags in closet, and all of you are right, I don't need/it's not practical for me to own 2 same bags in different colors.

Another LVR question: how are they with returns? Especially if I'm in the US? I'm really tempted to order the anthracite but if you've read my previous posts theres a chance that their 'anthracite' maybe something different. I'm so torn lol.
