That looks normal. The rivets on my tan bag are a different color than the gold feet on the bottom, more of a tarnished look.

Thanks Daisy66, but unfortunately I'm in England, that's why i wanted to order online, and just get it shipped over. I'm finding so hard to get a tan over here, maybe I should get whiskey instead.... can anyone recommend a site to get a tan one? I'm becoming a paddy obsessive! :blush:

Oh no, I see the large paddington tote on NM.com in ivory.... the temptation.... is.... killing.... me.... :cry:

What are your thoughts on the large tote? There are better views of it at LVR. Does anyone think it's too big? The satchel I find doesn't carry as much as I thought but the tote looks HUGE on the model in the LVR pics.

I guess that the way its supposed to be. Chloe Paris told me before, the hardware will change to dark, they want it to looks more vintage.

I also have tan and whiskey in addition to the browns. Honestly, if you are going to use the bags, then it is not extreme to own more than one. I do check out the threads of other bags - the new "it" bags - and always come back to the Paddington. My style is very particular, not varied at all, when it comes to fashion and accessories. Also, when I think of the non-Chloe bags I have sitting around at home going unused - among them a LV Speedy 30, black Balenciaga City, and large black Gucci Horsebit - it doesn't seem unreasonable to own four Paddingtons, which are always in rotation.

I don't work with a lot of fashion-savvy women, but my Paddingtons always get noticed and commented on.

I saw that too, and it looks too big and boxy. The price tag is too big as well!

The leather is stiffer, but not necessarily smoother. It has nice texture. The AW chocolate actually has a very soft, smooth front piece of leather with very little texture while the back piece is very pebbled. The sides of both bags are a mix.

My whiskey is extremely pebbled all over while the tan has the thickest leather and that "bumpy" texture throughout. The tan leather is my favorite of all the bags.

I'm sooo tempted too. It would be great for traveling. However since I already have a medium, I think I'd rather save the $ for a different style bag.

i've inquired about paddies from them and they do sell them. however, they don't seem to have hardly any in stock.

i think all the blue for this season is the same type of blue. mj64, my paddy's exactly like urs. except it's 'jeans moyen' on the tag but i ordered fr LVR which should be 'blue clair'. don't know y they can't stick to one name... :blush:
