Chloe Paddington Bags (February 2005 - March 2010)

Is there anyway to check on a Paddy order with LVR? When I placed the order it said it was to be shipped in March 06, but I have no patience and like to keep "visiting" my Paddy and hoping for an early arrival?

mammab, thank you! I had written off the paddies due to the hardware issues, but I just couldn't say no, especially after seeing your lovely pics! I'll take pics once my new bags arrive.

OKay, help...i don't trust ebay, but what do you all think about this...and how does this vendor have these bags. I don't think they would sell wholesale to anyone but the best, aka LVR, NEiman, etc.

I'm sorry, but no matter how much people may wish and dream and hope it is true, you will not find new, unused Chloe handbags on ebay for under retail.

If people want to believe that this could happen, then they are living in a fantasy land.

The best you can do is either slightly above for new bags or possible slightly less than retail for used bags.

i know..i totally agree! I am still saving for my whisky...will be ready in a week! hope they are not gone. I emailed the seller on ebay and asked if it was authentic why they would start a price at 299.00!!!

Read her feedback and click on her previous auctions. The pics of the bags sold are bad fakes. Sure she offers refunds, but at a 20% restocking fee. Stay away! I have no doubt the good pics are either stolen, or pics she has taken of real bags to dupe her bidders. You cannot buy a new paddy for less than retail. Otherwise the rest of us wouldn't have preordered whiskey from LVR in Jan for Mar arrival.

EXACTLY!!! THE BEST!!! I AM ON A nordstrom waiting list right now! I hope they get in soon. DOn't you love the whisky! I love that deep blue as well but have a deep plum bag that i have been carrying all fall/winter.

NOOOOOO! one of the little square tags has come off my zip-pull. I still have it, but i don't know what to do with it. I never actually lock the bag up, but it looks uneven with only one

I can't believe it: my whiskey paddy and tan silverado tote are here already! That's just a little over 24 hours. Unfortunately, I can't open the packages b/c DF is at my place, and he's already been disapproving about how many handbags I've purchased (and he doesn't even know about half of them). Yes, it's my money, but he knows that I shop the most when I'm feeling lonely or depressed, so it bothers him to see me shop so much. I don't know when I'll get a chance to open them!

Can you tie it back on? Where did it come off of - the silver loop or where it attaches to the leather on the bottom?

My Noir satchel arrived today. I adore the color but as usual, the hardware has some issues. A few knicks on the key and a small peel on the back of the lock right along the top "seam". The NM s/a is trying to see if she can either get another bag or lock and key from Chloe. I would rather keep this color and send back my new chocolate satchel than keep two chocolates. (I also have the AW chocolate.)

Geez, that's awful. I'd open them anyway and tune out his disapproving words! I try never to judge what other people spend their money on or worry about how much they spend but unfortunately, my way is not the norm. A good friend would try to figure out why you are feeling lonely and depressed versus scold you for shopping to work through those feelings. Can you ask him to leave, say you have things to take care of? LOL!

ahhh i know. why, oh why don't people get it? I am not trying to be rude at all, but it doesn't take much to understand that you just can't get these items under retail (unless they're used). Even at retail on ebay you need to be discerning.

Its just so disconcerting to see enthusiastic bag lovers throwing their money after bad, bad, bad fake pieces of cr*p.

Well I'm sure you probably already opened them by now, but just so you have a plan in place for next time.....the boxes can go in the shower/bathtub. Just pull the curtain closed and you're set to go

This is totally off-topic but I'm going to share anyhow....last night I was convinced there was a fire in my building, and was trying to figure out how I was going to save my nice bags. So I started putting them all in a little suitcase, but then I thought, oh my god, all my neighbors are going to think I'm the world's most shallow person if I'm escaping the fire with a suitcase full of handbags. So, you know what I was planning to do? You got it, throw the suitcase out the window! I really thought the bags would have no problem surviving the 5 story fall, obviously I wouldn't make it, I'd have to brave it down the stairs through the fire, but the bags could handle the fall.

Seriously guys, this all went through my head....luckily I was wrong about the fire....
