Chloe Paddington Bags (February 2005 - March 2010)

Thanks to all for looking at my chloe. THe tag is 03-05-53. This is picture that bothers me - That is exactly what that zipper "head" looks like the picture below.

I read somewhere on this thread that the tan paddys from ss05 did not have serial numbers on them. Does anyone else have a tan ss05 paddy? If so, please, please could you please check if yours has a serial number + the ykk on the zipper?

Mammab, The bottom compartment is suprisingly easy to get in and out of. I started off with it empty...thinking it would be difficult to use... When on, I found it was actually easier to get into the bottom compartment than the top...by mid-afternoon, my keys, water bottle, and makeup bag were in the bottom...

mTaz- now im afraid,,, i did a money transfer to chloe bahrain for my cream paddington medium..the one im getting si the autmn collection tho, does the autmon/gall collection have the serial # + YKK zipper?

mTaz- youre freaking me out, chloe bahrain shouldnt be selling fakes,. cause i just money transfered them today cause im getting the medium cream paddington , mines will be frmo the autmn/fall coollection tho. does anyone know if the fall/autmn have the serial # alnog with the YKK zippers?

Hiya. I've just received my light blue medium Paddy from NAP. The YKK is on the side of the zip head where the metal pull tag is, and not on the actual top of the zip. I don't know if yours is the same? I know my bag's real. I can't post piccies yet to show you what I mean because the viewfinder on my camera's busted so I'll post when I get it fixed.

roccos - I think you can relax about yours. I know it's strange, but Chloe isn't at all consistent in the type of hardware they're using on these. Your bag stumped me, because I own a lot of different colors and when I first started checking them for you, most of them had the YKK on the side of the zipper (the part that moves) - not on the top. But my Blue Nuit has the exact zipper as yours with the YKK on the top. It's fine - enjoy it!
mTaz - yours is a little more confusing, since I've never seen one without a serial # on the leather tag inside the pocket, but isn't yours a mini? Maybe those are slightly different - all mine are regular satchels or hobos. Maybe someone specifically with a mini can check theirs.

SoCal - I agree with roey - that Zippy looks amazing on you. You are so lucky you're tall enough to show it to its best advantage. I am "not tall" - LOL, and when I tried it on it looked quite ridiculous. Now I see how gorgeous it can look on the right frame.

Instead of sending me the blanc white paddy, I was sent the large blanc shoulder bag (hobo). Hello??? I've been dreaming about it now for a few days and couldn't wait to get it and its the WRONG BAG. I told her to find me the Blanc Paddy. I never mentioned Shoulder Bag to her. Anyways....I was really excited too.
Now I think I'll never find one. They all seem to be sold out everywhere. She was my last hope.

She was my last hope.This is my first time posting, but I must say this thread must be run by the Chloe' Cartel because in the past month that I've been lurking and learning, I have become ADDICTED to Paddingtons! So much so that my fourth just arrived today (and I didn't have to chase the FedEx man - I met him halfway down the driveway). Now I can't keep them all (so I say) especially since I bought them retail so I can't tell DH "Oh but I got a really good deal on eBay!!" But I can't decide which new family member(s) to send back to the orphanage - they are all so unique. This is the damage:
Chocolate Hobo: BG web. Spring 05, 6-digit code - obviously a return with a few knicks on plate. Got $100 credit. Leather is super soft but not too lumpy or too thick. I love the idea of being hands-free, and the 3 season color....This one's def a keeper but since it's not the classic satchel I also ordered:
Tan Satchel w/shoulder strap: also from BG web. Winter 06, 6-digit code. Super-duper soft, pebbly, thick and wrinkled. Actually I was expecting Whiskey since that's the photo they used, so I was surprised (pleasantly??) to receive Tan. The strap actually looks adorable and allows me to 'wear' it, but since the only support is one rivet (each side) set low on the bag attached to an extremely soft section of leather, I fear eventually the leather will fail under the strain and the rivet will pull out. Hmmm. Definitely a spring into indian-summer color...then there is:
Bleu Clair Satchel transferred from Park Meadows CO Nordys someone mentioned in an earlier post! 6-digit code, pebbled but definitely not as soft or wrinkly as Tan - perhaps the color treatment makes it firmer? But looks like it could hold up to dirt & cleaning better than Tan. This was my first love looking at all your photos - I feel it is the casual woman's Blue Jean Birkin (!!) Definitely a less everyday, fashion color for spring/summer, but what a knockout. Would feel most guilty returning this one because of the SAs commish. And today....
Whiskey Satchel! NM web - my first to order and last to arrive. 10-digit code located on opposite side of pocket. Leather is similar although slightly softer than Bleu Clair, definitely not as thick and sharpei-esque as Tan, but looks like it could survive more everyday use. Looks more fall/winter than I expected - albeit more eye-catching than neutral like the 3 others. More variations in color between the different leather pieces. I love that fact that it is brand-spanking new, no return, no display, even came in the original box w/in a box! But is the color kind of western?
Anyway, thanks for reading if you made it this far - I just wanted to report on the leathers and codes and general excitement. I'll try to post a pic I took of the 'kids' sitting on the sofa today if I can figure out how to do it :-)
