I've asked this question before but never got an answer.....

I'm dying for a tan paddy, even more so after seeing blu genie's picture. Do you guys think I should have faith that it will come back in a future season, or is the dreaded ebay my only hope??

A tan paddy had appeared last week briefly on BG's website but later that day, it was gone. You may have to keep checking their website or NM if any pops up again. I was too late myself!

mTaz- youre freaking me out, chloe bahrain shouldnt be selling fakes,. cause i just money transfered them today cause im getting the medium cream paddington , mines will be frmo the autmn/fall coollection tho. does anyone know if the fall/autmn have the serial # alnog with the YKK zippers?

For all of you out there on this thread...if you own a mini paddy...please check to see if your zippers have ykk on it and if there is a serial number in the inside pocket of your mini and, please let us know!!!

Especially if anyone out here owns a mini from the ss05 collection. I'd really appreciate it.

Gawd, this is so insane that I should be worrying about receiving a fake paddy from an authorized chloe store!!!

I mean, I think I'm a tiny bit less picky than others, I'd take one with little imperfections as my chocolate one has several, but at the same time, I don't want someone else's sloppy seconds Maybe I just have to be content with someone else's return though, and just keep teling myself it was returned by some crazy tfser who just had too many colors and had to unload one of them

gaaah the blue is beautiful. If it had come with silver hardware I would have been sold. I believe its possible Mundo. My local NM had a Whiskey, a ton of silverados and some of the new...bettys I think. And my NM carries NOTHING! Ever! I was shocked. No one around even knows what a paddy is. (it was actually the first time I had ever seen one in person) And it wasnt a return as far as I could tell, the sucker was flawless. And looked so lonely, in the case all by itself.

That store is kind of a creepy, whenever I go there are no other shoppers. I feel self conscious there.

mundodabolsa - the good thing about getting someone's sloppy seconds from the store/etailer is you can send it back and someone else will get your seconds/thirds. Even tho' I can't buy any more, I still cruise NM and BG almost daily and have seen some sloppy Tans show up almost weekly.

roccos - that totally cracked me up. DH said, "oh great, does that mean we have to keep the Tan now?" I must say for an unexpected arrival it's certainly growing on me. But I still don't look like Mischa Barton!

I own a blue moyen and I actually think that the bronze hardware is awesome. Since I got my bag, I have bought 4 pairs of bronze/gold shoes, sandals and slippers (including a pair of gold Birkenstock), so I can match my bag!

I have tried to sell an 05 brand new tan paddy on Ebay for over 3 months and no takers! I guess there's so much fakery that people are reluctant to bite even though I have perfect feedback. Im just wondering at this stage if I should keep it as a collector's item anyway. Shame for it to sit in the cupboard going unused but I never intended to keep it, just sell it on, so I would feel guilty about using it!

So, I guess Ebay is perhaps your last resort, but real ones do pop up!!

Tell me, how do you like the tan paddy w/shoulder strap? Does the paddy loose its shape when you have it over your shoulder? I'm just curious as I do like the paddy but am thinking the shoulder strap may make it more practical for me (have toddler, very, active, toddler). Is the strap adjustable?

Rocco -- I chucked at the picture w/hearts. Very creative I like the tan too. Heck, I love them all! Oh yeah, I was pretty surprised when I got the wrong bag but its growing on me and I love the hobo style, especially with kids. Big and easy to throw over the shoulder.

I bought the anthracite wallet this morning from NAP. It was $615 usd. Expensive for a wallet; but, I could not resist.

They have the silver and anthracite wallets on the site for sale. You should go take a look, they are pretty.

I will post a picture when mine arrives.

hi! i have a mini anthracite from LVR. there is a serial number in the pocket (it's written on "natural" leather). the zipper has a little anthracite leather pull. I'm not sure how i would i would determine it to be a YKK- it's not written anywhere that I can see it.

So Neiman's has a tan one with the shoulder strap for sale right now (although the picture is of a whiskey). I don't want one with a strap though....am I desperate enough to pay the $1645 price tag and then not use the strap?? Hmmm....

Also, is the strap version exactly the same as the regular satchel size-wise? Does it look like the regular one when you take the strap off, or is there some extra hardware? Rocco's pix looks like there is an extra buckle on the sides, which would make sense...
