Chloe Paddington Bags (February 2005 - March 2010)

I have Noir in the satchel and love it! It is not one of those colors I would have chosen either. Style101 recommended it; she knows my taste and knew I would like it IRL. It is like a slate blue-grey, extremely versatile. Looks fab with pretty much any color. Here is a good representation of the color (source: mine! ).

Thanks roey! So, would you wear the noir with black, red, etc.? What clothing colors do you find it works best with?

Yes, Noir is nice but not the one I want! And no one wants to buy mine lol. Is LVR a bit slow to respond to emails? I asked for the return authorization last friday but havent heard back.

I think I read here that LVR is slow to respond to emails after they have shipped out your order.

Who did you get the silver anthra from? I thought you orchestrated the exchange with LVR?

My paddy wallet is showing up this AM; but, I am seriously considering sending it back to NAP. Well, I may try to sell it first (deduct what I would lose in shipping it back and fees not refunded), if no one bites then back it goes. I just am not sure I can use that wallet as my daily...I have a black zip Prada and I can just throw it in every purse I own - I hate fussing with changing wallets.

LVR as far as I know doesn't have them in. I bought the anthracite from a private seller so now (for a short time) I'll have TWO paddys lol

And I'm *this close* to having enough $$ to order the silver wallet.

Black, red, pink, blue, yellow, white, even green. Anything but brown. I don't like it with my brown toned tops but I have worn it with a yellow sweater and tan cowboy boots. It's really great, and different. I don't normally like grey bags (returned a grey Balenciaga Twiggy two years ago) but the slate-blue vibe of the Noir really adds a nice kick.

If I bought a cream bag it would barely leave the house.

You'd be surprised, I never thought of myself as a creme bag girl either and then I got one (a beautiful MJ bag), and never stopped wearing it, I used it for 2 months straight which is unheard of for me. It got more use than any of my bags until the choco paddy came along....

Personally, I think yes, they are too similar in color to have in the same style, meaning the satchel. I think if you get them in different styles (is that what you're planning to do, is that what you mean by the pics?) it would be fine because then you'd have different uses for them. But I would go more radically different, like if you have the satchel in sable get a hobo or zippy in creme, not whatever the name of the one you have in the picture is. Sorry, I don't have time to go back and read exactly what you intended for them, so this is my quick answer....

AAHHH - It is gorgeous...

I don't know what to do - it is so beautiful, the leather looks darker than the bag, there is a little pouch on the front and the interior zips open, it is perfectly made....I wanted to hate it!!!

I will take pics in a few - my digital camera had to charge up really quick. (oh, it even came in a Chloe box)

The leather is very soft and squishy - I hold this and it makes me think that my Nylon Prada wallet is crap

Hmmm...tough decision...I can tell you I was in Nordies this wknd and they had 3 silver paddys, they were not very nice at all. The leather was not soft and smooshy, and they were so reflective - like chrome.

I have not seen the silver wallet IRL; and it might be very nice if you like shiney things - it would have to be better since it is smaller than the bag. Which would you get more use out of?

The mini-lock is not heavy at all; it is nothing like the padlocks on the bags.

The wallet is heavy because it is all leather (and thick leather too). The little lock probably weighs less than an ounce.
