It looks like they are returning to some sort of classicism. I see a lot less show pieces and an emphasis on tailoring and a sort of minimal take on their aesthetic. The video is the background, it looks like it was taken from their atelier? I see someone cutting a pattern?

i saw it on the news earlier, they had a video of the atelier / preparation of the collection in the background

Seeing the whole collection, while it still frustrates me that this collection is so similar to last season's, I actually prefer this one to Spring/Summer 2010.

looks like they forgot to design for F/W10 and sent out the S/S10 collection again.

a few interesting details but overall very boring
isn't it just the greatest delight, to see designers do, what they know they do best!
the only big miss here was the music really... moulin rouge is not what i think when you say "sartorialita" "sicilianita"
but whatever... the rest was gorgeous. the pale natural look of the girls, those red lips, those printed flower dresses, the polka dots, the lace, the velvet, the big knits pinned with charms cinching the body...
second season in a row of true dolce gabbana,. give me a hot pair of python embellished jeans next summer and i am sold!!

Guys I really dont understand this collection
I think the feeling I have is dissapointment...there's no excitement about it
like there's something missing...
it's pretty clothes, super nice tailoring thats for sure
like a semi sexiness, like how women in their 40's should be (in sexiness terms)
which is not bad at all
but there's something that doesnt close here

Yeah, i agree, though I'm not entirely sure why. Maybe because of the dark colors and gothic tone. I really like it, maybe because I'm still scarred from FW09, but that wouldn't be the only reason. I don't know, and I don't think i ever will. I hope I don't lose sleep over it
