extra-long tshirt trend...

I bought a couple long tshirts from Old Navy. They're actually surprisingly nice.

there's nothing surprising about them being nice. i definetely dont think there is nothing wrong with buying something that isn't designer. because, like i'm sure you've heard before, you can buy head to to designer & still not look nice. it's how you put it together, not what you're wearing.

Yes, someone definately brought up the laundry thing... My mom is always like "Why do you have to wear 3 shirts at once???".. I am a layering wh*re I must say :innocent:

LOL, I love layering also. I like the whole long tshirt trend since I hate it when my shirts show my stomach and i have to pull it down constantly.

I think she was referring more to the quality/lastability. and I have to say I agree - some of my old navy stuff is rubbish, but some stuff holds up pretty well.
supporting the extra long tops, and the availability of them in the high street shops (h&m is full of them) - I've seen too many girls wandering around with not-pretty at all gaps between their jeans and their tops and I'm sick of it!

Very true. But, all the clothes I've gotten them are good quality. I think the only thing that doesn't hold up are their graphic tees, they fade like nothing. But, then again, vintage look? Hah.

i love this trend because girls who wear short shirts, who really shouldn't, will look much better in the long shirts.

this trend is all over the place...the long shirts are in almost every store at the mall. i personally like it, but im short and dont have a long torso so it makes me look shorter then i actually am... :(

I'm 5' 2" and have a very short torso and wide hips. I find that wearing longer shirts makes me look more proportionate and less dumpy :p

This trend has become big at my school. It's simple and chic I really like it.

I love wearing these... i think they are quite hard to find sometimes though.. got a few that i have made myself and wear a belt over.

I've been after a sweater style one for ages in gray with some design on..that gets tighter around the hips and bum:D Fornarina used to have a few but couldnt find a store selling them

I didn't mean to say that cheap clothing can't look nice. I meant for the price, it's surprising how good the quality it is and how long it's lasted. Sorry for any confusion.

^ .

Dee Bird, how did you make them yourself, if you don't mind me asking?
