I like the '70s in terms of fashion. However, I dislike this whole deal. Especially denim high-waisted shorts. Get ready to see some horribly-dressed (at least to me) ladies in high-waisted shorts this Summer. This is especially if the general public (outside of southern California) buys into this style.

I DISAGREE , i have seen A Lot of girls rock high waisted shorts , its a very nice look . I personally like high waisted flares , but if your a girl below age 25 this look is great IMO .

If anyone is looking for high waist shorts - I saw a cute dark denim pair at Forever21 yesterday. They were around $30-$35 I believe. I should have bought them but it is so cold here I can't even think about getting spring/summer clothes yet.

A LOT of girls in Australia are wearing high waisted denim shorts with fluoro tshirts or baggy singlets.
it doesn't look that great....
the ones in more expensive looking fabrics that have been parts of the runway collections do look nicer.

I like the idea of a high-waisted pant, but if you're slim, I think a high-waisted short might be even better. Paired with a slouchy tucked tissue top...v-neck plunge neckline in the back.

the shorts are robert rodriguez. i need them tailored and fitted; not tight fitting.

I am definitely digging the high waist shorts! Especially the way Chloe has it displayed above.

As long as there is no camel-toe or butt cheeks hanging out, i think it something that can be done very well.

I agree that chloe looks hot in the shorts, but the only thing that i find with shorts that short you have to wear a tighter top otherwise it gives you a boyish body unless you are very voluptuous. Anyone else agree or disagree?
