So lets put things in perspective....many a child star have died in the gutter. I guess compared to that, messy hair and a sling in her pocket is not that big a deal?

I agree with you! Looking at Lindsay Lohan, Britney Spears, Corey Haim, Brad Renfro, Amanda Bynes a.o. she seems quite grounded and in a good place. Of course there are others like her and more polised people in the entertainment business like the Fanning sisters or Scarlett Johanssen or Kirsten Dunst but still...I believe she is her own worst enemy by being so awkward all the time. One might think that people can get used to appearing in public but obviously it is difficult for someone like her. But then: Robert DeNiro is still really awkward and uncomfortable and weird in interviews but still THE MAN!

LA Times conducted an interview with her mum which makes it quite obvious that her and Kristen fit Lainey's Blind. Considering that Lainey most likely gets information from Kristen's team, the blind might have been a pre-emptive move or something.

the fact lainey is now much more direct in linking him to that notorious list makes me think she pretty much got it confirmed since writing that article in the first place.

Definitely, he's been a rumored (I believe he's even addressed it in interviews) alcoholic for years, and the past relationship would be Heath.

Here it is in full:

We were all a little sad, I think, when it was confirmed that they’d broken up. No one sadder than him. But she left him because of his drinking. It was excessive, and with the experience of her last relationship, she saw the signs and opted for self-preservation. In addition to his relationship with alcohol though, he also had an unconventional relationship with sex. Think...Michael Fassbender in Shame. Along those lines. Though he was faithful to her, totally, there are addiction issues he clearly has to address. And he’s doing that now, going to meetings, reaching out to another celebrity in recovery with whom he’s worked, as some of their issues are quite similar. He’s almost a month sober now and, yes, he’s doing it, in part, to get her back which... well... they know that’s not the way, don’t they? A few people close to him don’t think he’s really taking it seriously if he hasn’t committed to rehab. And she can see that too. For her, this is permanent, even though he doesn’t seem to be able to accept it.

You guys are so good at this! There is not even one time that I have guessed right. I always come here to check (with the happy knowledge that a couple of guesses are already posted) and it never ceases to amaze me how spot on the answer can be.

Trust that as a woman and as someone who has known people who have been in abusive relationships that I take this seriously. But honestly? There was plenty of sketchiness shrouding Fassbender's girlfriend's story. For one thing, she filed the charges against him almost a year after she said he'd attacked her, long after they'd broken up. She'd also made similar accusations against a previous boyfriend. She then proceeded to drop the charges against Michael, and if sources are to be believed, because she didn't want to "damage his career." Admittedly, I've never personally been in this situation myself, but if a guy has beat you and you're scared enough to press charges, file a restraining order, screw his career.

I don't know what happened one way or another, but I do remember the Irish Sunday Mail article/investigation which shed a lot of doubt on her credibility. And there has yet to be a rumor outside of this to paint Fassbender as angry, violent, belligerent, temperamental, etc. Lainey is quite often right, but just because she says it doesn't necessarily mean it's the absolutely true. She's just as often been wrong.
