I do it every time I wear boots.
Partially because attempting to pull my jeans over top would look outrageous, and partly because it looks damn good.

Not all men can pull this off, like skinny jeans, it takes a certain type of more "femme" guy to successfully wear it.
I'm tall and completely too skinny, so I think it looks good on me.

I'm not so tall but skinny so maybe I'll try it. But I have to get the boots first. It's probably a better look for me because the shaft of most boots (even womens') is too wide for my bare legs.

No skinny jeans, tho'.

Im a bit tired of jeans tucked into boots now, its become really mainstream. I think that by not tucking your (ideally skinny) jeans into boots it will make your legs look 10 times longer.

I love this whole thing; I've been doing it for a while now but it's so comfortable and cute, not to mention it means you can show off your boots fully. It's been around so long I've forgotten what people ever did before.

^ you should try Acne Jeans.. they have some lightweight cotton/elastan skinny jeans.. which is perfect for boots..

I like the look better with boots that have a nice, thick heel compared to flat boots. But I must say, it's a damn good way to keep the bottom of your jeans dry .

...hehe I do it all the time with my flat and heeled boots.. but it's a pain trying to pull up the zipper.. I suppose I should invest in a few good pairs of tighter-straight-cut jeans then..

...I love tucking in so I can show off the boot, and the buckles and/ or detail on it...OTHERWISE...whats the point of wearing a boot?

^ I agree, though some people pull it off so beautifully. I can't stand it though when the jeans bunch up & get all lumpy. Personally, I've never done it cuz I believe that being short, it'll make look even shorter. lol

I think it's passing from a trend into a just another way of wearing jeans and boots. It's been done quite a lot but I can't see it dying out altogether. I'm not a skirt person myself and wearing jeans/trousers tucked into boots is the only way I can show my lovely boots off, and I'm NOT talking bout UGGs or mukluks here... (Seriously though, I need to learn how to wear skirts, I'm boring myself to death and just bought a pair of boots that are dying to be worn with pretty skirts)

^ i agree, people have been tucking their boots into their jeans as far back as the 60s and 70s. it is nothing new and it is not going anywhere antime soom
