... Meyers said someone had sent the store owners flowers, which kind of freaked them out.

At least it wasn't a dead fish wrapped in newspaper.

very inappropriate dress for COURT.

night on the town? sure.
going to court? no.

she is not taking anything seriously, and by wearing something that short to court proves that shes thinking of all this as a joke
'i got out of it once before, i can do it again'

did anyone else notice the eye rolls during the live feed ?
and her laughing at the DA when she asked for lindsay & co not to go to the store that is pressing the charges ?

at least this judge seems to be stern unlike the other..

In general , I wouldn't think it is a good idea to have one of your gang return a stolen item to the Police, not the store, and to send flowers to your accuser...maybe not good ways to prove your innocence...

Lindsay: I Sent Flowers to Jeweler To Be Nice

TMZ has cracked a horticultural mystery -- Lindsay Lohan is the one who sent flowers to the jeweler who has accused her of stealing the $2,500 necklace.

If you watched Lindsay's arraignment on TMZ Live, prosecutor Danette Meyers told Judge Keith Schwartz ... she wanted an order prohibiting Lindsay from having any contact with Kamofie & Company, because the store owners were freaked out after receiving flowers ... presumably from someone in Lindsay's camp.

Well we found out ... Lindsay sent the flowers herself. Lindsay told friends, she sent the arrangement "to be nice."

It's all around a bad idea for criminal defendants to contact alleged victims, so Judge Schwartz told Lindsay she can't have any contact with the jeweler.

She loves jewelers ... she loves them not.

^ disturbing :(
that is how seasoned shoplifters and burglars operate

^ Why would they take it back?? People give the Lohans free stuff all the time!! Rolexes, fur coats, necklaces, expensive sports cars! Jeeze...sue them Michael!!
The guy on TMZ, who is a lawyer, said word in the legal community is Lindsay's long suffering lawyer Shawn, almost never gets paid by Lindsay, and imagine how she must have felt when she has somehow been keeping her out of jail and she was jewelry shopping with $6,000 cash on her!! :o
The whole family has a lot of friends these days....

They are saying this sort of pattern behavior is admissible in court under these kind of circumstances...What does the lawyer say- "Ladies and Gentlemen of the jury- My client is a scatterbrain moron, with no common sense!!" I suppose you can steal very expensive things if you are really a 14 year old kid inside who has killed off most of your brain cells, such as they were to begin with...

Lindsay's Jeweler: She Did This to Us Before

Four days before Lindsay Lohan allegedly stole the $2,500 necklace at the center of her felony case, she tried walking out of the same store days before with a diamond earring ... this according to the police report obtained by TMZ ... but the prior incident could actually help Lindsay's case.

According to the report, on January 18, four days before the alleged necklace incident, Lindsay went to Kamofie & Company and tried on a pair of 18 karat gold white diamond earrings. Lindsay removed one earring and left the other in her ear while she shopped.

According to the report, "Ms. Lohan gathered her things and started to leave the jewelry store without making a purchase. Ms. Lohan's hair was flipped to one side covering the diamond earring."

The report states, "[The clerk] stopped her and reminded Ms. Lohan she was still wearing the earring. Ms. Lohan laughed, admitted to her mistake and removed the earring from her ear and returned it to [the clerk]."

The scenario involving the earrings is similar to Lindsay's conduct in the store when she left with the necklace.

Ironically, the earring incident could actually help Lindsay. She had absentmindedly left her own, more expensive earrings on the counter as she began walking out of the store with the single earring. And, people who know Lindsay say she's a scatterbrain who forgets basic things all the time.

Remember, trials are all about creating reasonable doubt. So she's either a klepto or forgetful... and when in doubt, the verdict must be not guilty.

TMZ

Why does leaving her own earrings mean she didn't intend to steal? It's not like if you leave something in a store you're giving it to the owners, she could easily get them back. In fact it proves she is a shoplifter because that is a tactic to give her an alibi in case she was caught before leaving, which she was.

If stupidity in an excuse then jails can let everyone go free.

What is she up to now? Chateau Marmont? Are we at least going to get a mugshot, or has she stolen that too?

The woman who sued Lindsay Lohan for allegedly stealing her $12,000 mink coat back in 2008 claims she's "not interested" in helping officials put Lindsay behind bars ... despite the fact that the D.A. wants to bring up the incident.

TMZ spoke to a rep for Masha Markova ... who tells us the two settled their case with "no admission of guilt" ... after Lindsay walked out of a NYC nightclub wearing the coat without permission.

And while Masha admits Lindsay has demonstrated a "strikingly similar pattern" of taking other people's property since the mink coat situation ... Masha says she wants nothing to do with the new case.

TMZ broke the story -- Masha's lawsuit against LiLo was a factor in filing grand theft charges against Lindsay -- because it shows an M.O. when Lindsay goes "shopping."

Lindsay Police Report Pokes Holes In Jeweler's Story

The police report detailing how Lindsay Lohan allegedly stole a $2,500 necklace from an L.A. jewelry store shows two puzzling inconsistencies in the jeweler's story -- inconsistencies that could help Lindsay beat the rap.

According to the report, obtained by TMZ, the jeweler first told cops Lindsay had been in the store three times before the alleged theft -- looking at the necklace in question. The next day, the jeweler changed her story and said it was actually a ring Lindsay had been eyeing on previous visits and never looked at the necklace.

And there's another inconsistency. According to the report, on January 23, the owner told cops, "The surveillance video revealed that as Kaman [owner] was talking to Lindsay's male friend, Lohan reached up to her neck area with both hands, removed the store necklace, and placed it inside her black Chanel bag."

But the next day, the owner changed her story, saying Lindsay walked out of her store with the necklace around her neck. The reason for the inconsistency -- the owner claims she reviewed the video on a different monitor the second time and saw it differently.

The jewelry store owner's credibility is crucial because Lindsay claims the owner loaned the necklace to her.

TMZ

well if she had another necklace on when she tried on this one, she could have taken the one she already had on off and put it in her bag.

shes going to walk from this no doubt.

Lindsay Lohan Wants Plea Deal

Lindsay Lohan insists she's innocent but still desperately wants to plea bargain her felony grand theft case because she's terrified of being locked up ... sources connected with the case tell TMZ.

Judge Keith Schwartz set a hearing for February 23, so the lawyers can talk plea bargain. We've learned Lindsay is willing to plead guilty to make the case go away, provided she doesn't get any jail or prison time.

Sources say the prosecutor wants jail time so there's an impasse.

But there's another way Lindsay can make this case go away. When there is only one charge on the table -- as there is here -- the defendant can essentially cut a deal with the judge, cutting the D.A. out of the picture. If Shawn Chapman Holley offers to plead guilty to felony grand theft, with the judge's assurance he won't put her behind bars, the case could go away.

And, it's common in cases like this for the judge to reduce the offense to a misdemeanor if Lindsay stays out of trouble for 12 months.

- yeah this is very unlikely.. it hasnt even been 12 months and shes already in trouble again..
