Its funny how at the end of each Lanvin fashion show video there´s a HUGE warning conserning copyrights of the designs showed there...
I don´t have anything against big brands doing collaborations for H&M or whatever but I felt dissapointed when I saw that first pic, we´ve been waiting for long to finally see the designs and the first few ones are exact knock off or original Lanvin, it didn´t feel right to me, or better said, it didn´t feel new.

haha. And sure, the idea of the high end brands is that they aren't mass market, but the idea of a designer/high street collaboration is that they become mass market. If Alber designed pieces that were nothing like any of the Lanvin collections, they might as well have got anyone to do it... I guess the purpose of a designer/high street collaboration is that the brands 'look' becomes accessible, and whether we like it or not, it will certainly be fulfilling that purpose by the looks of the pictures so far.
