Lanvin for H&M (Update....Second Collection?)

What on earth. I was really looking forward to this but the mens collection is a huge disappointment, there isn't a single thing in it you can't get throught the regular H&M collection or the Trend stuff..

Who on earth is going to wait in line for that?

Thanks for the info on the sunglasses. they don't look that different (other than the fact that I'm sure they offer no UVA/UVB protection). They even have the little screws on the temples. The pictures from the press day make the clothing look really well made but I'm not sure I entirely trust that the garments available on press day will be identical to those made for the rough and tumble H&M stores.

The menswear is appalling, but I'm still intrigued to take a look.
I think Lanvin have used their trademark raw couture licence to finish off cheap clothes in a cheap way. The crappy jackets aren't made to look effortless by tacking tape around the edges; they just look crap.

actually, i'm used to dark H&M sunnies to offer UVA/UVB protection... am i wrong here?

I just love how I can pin point any piece from both the mens and womens collection and describe an accurate runway look that's practically similar! I'm HEAD OVER HEELS over everything. I'm so going for the sunnies, the t-shirts, the sheer and faux fur jacket, and definitely that pink/green flowered necklace. So chic.

I totally agree. They missed this by a mile - both with the promo video and the collection. I would pick the Jimmy Choo for H&M over this any day. Especially in the mens department.

What a let down.
