Lanvin for H&M (Update....Second Collection?)

For sure people from Swden can buy online this collection. Have no idea how it looks like in another EURO countries.Hope that I can buy something online in UK...
Nothing is ever sure about H&M...there isn't a single COS store in Sweden

All the Scandi countries and most of Western Europe can order online.

ew..seeing these on actual people was a huge turn off..the yellow dress is too long, the red has too much volume at the top....whatevssss

oh btw, i hope this isnt OT, but WHY doesnt h&m sell online in the US?

logistics? there's not even H&Ms in every state in the US, not even in half of all the states.

It's all to do with distribution. The UK only just got the online shopping as they've just opened the distribution places for it to work from. I think the fact it's an island will have been a big factor. Costs/Imports, all those issues. Same for the US I imagine. They would need to have distribution facilities in place for them to be able to meet demand.

Perhaps soon. We've had H&M's here in the UK for years and only just got an online store... I think the US has had the stores much more recently.

are the showrooms constantly accessible to press until the launch or only during the events? honeycomb, do you know?

I'd imagine it works like any other press day/event, and there's a certain amount of time it's open for. You can drop in anytime during a two day period say?

Usually it's done in phases, a phase for bloggers/online magazines, a time slot for short lead press, etc. But it wont be open until the launch, unless H&M has added the collection to its showroom, where press can arrange appointments to visit individually. But from the images it looks like they just held a sort of open house press day for it.

When looking through the still life images of the collection I get this weird feeling. I'm not disappointed and I'm not ecstatic. It's so obviously Lanvin (reviving old looks and setting them into mass-production), and I adore both Alber and Lucas, but when the exclusivity is removed and I realise that EVERYONE will be wearing these dresses, I kinda lose interest. I won't be buying everything after all (my wallet is quite happy about that)

No, I still like it in general. Much because of the cute video and because I can afford Lanvin! (although sans the exclusive feeling)

Alber is one of my favorite designers, but I really don't like this at all.

I like 2 dresses, 1 pair of shoes and the glowes which are pretty plain and prob won't fit my too short finger

The first 320 people queuing will receive one of 16 different coloured bracelets, 20 people for each colour. On the bracelet you will be given a specific time to enter the designated area. The bracelets are needed only for the women's collection. Customer's buying the men's collection will not require a bracelet.

When it is your allotted time you will be allowed into the designated area to shop for 10 minutes. Our goal is to create a better shopping experience for all customers.

If you are not one of the first 320 in the queue, you wil of course have the opportunity to shop from the rest of the collection or within H&M. When 16 groups have finished shopping, the designated area will open for all customers.

To allow as many customers as possible the chance to purchase for the Lanvin for H&M collection we will limited each item from the collection to a maximum of one piece per product. I.e not more than one size of piece per product, per customer. The limitation covers the whole Lanvin for H&M collection. Your place in the queue does not guarantee you Lanvin for H&M pieces.

The site's not fully active, with the store locator and full collection up...

The UK Stockists will be 6 in London, one in Manchester, one in Glasgow, one in Kent, and one in Birmingham.
