Lanvin for H&M (Update....Second Collection?)

I went to H+M yesterday but there was none of the collection left, I'm a bit disappointed I didn't get to see some of the pieces.
 
I can't go to h&m until saturday :ninja:, would there still be some pieces left, or is this just wishful thinking? I'm not sure I want something but I just really want to see the stuff :lol:. The sunglasses and some lipsticks would be nice to have...
So, anyone from Belgium who thinks that there will still be some pieces on saturday in Antwerp or Brussels?:innocent:
I'm hoping there will be some stuff from people who returned it.
 
I'm going this Saturday too. I remember going a couple of days after the Jimmy Choo collection, and there was still stuff left. But I think this collection is way bigger, so I don't have any high hopes on getting anything.

Any Norwegians that's been to h&m in Oslo lately? :smile:
 
am in stockholm and there lots left over, got the blazer, t****, necklace and 4 dresess, taking two back though, think i overdosed a bit!
 
London was completely cleared out! Over the course of the day I was in three stores that stocked it, both only had the satin trench coat with fur collar left, and out of the menswear there were one or two pairs of shoes and then the blue coat. That's it. The window displays have all come out and everything, and what's left fits onto one tiny little rack. Very funny!

Yeah, the satin trench with fur collar wasn't the most popular. It was the only thing left in the online shop (norway) both on the release date and yesterday..
 
When do people who ordered the bits online on the launch day expect to have their things...? I ordered one of the necklaces this morning for a friend when they went back online and it's saying the 17th of December! Hoping that's them just being cautious.. I have to say that it is really a terrible online shopping experience on their site! It's a very confusing system.

I ordered some things at 7am on launch day, and that is estimated for delivery between 29th-3rd Dec. I ordered the navy blazer with trim this morning and got a mid-December estimate!! Hopefully will be sooner.

Ok i need some help from any guys that bought the navy trousers. Do they go well with the navy blazer (with the trim on it)? And how is the fit? I've heard mixed reactions on the fit so I'm not sure whether to get them. And the online store shows 2 navy trousers that look kinda identical, which is confusing me even further.. :blink:
 
FleurDeLys i've been today in Antwerpen(Meir no. 97) and they still have some dresses (both colours for the tule dress,pink dresses,goldish dresses,black&yellow dresses,the dark blue dresses,the lace skirt and the satin trench with fur collar.Today i am olso going in Brussel and i will let u know later if there is something left from the collection.

i think you need to check the bottom, one should be with an elastic band, the other w/o
 
Compared to the womens collection, the mens collection from Lanvin leaves a lot to be desired.

The trousers were so odd. I bought a medium and they're pretty gigantic. Plenty room in them and cut really very high waisted. I could have fit easily into a small but sadly there were none left in the trouser I wanted.

The ones I got in the end were the navy ones with the elasticated waist. They're a totally different fabric to the jacket. The jacket is a really beautiful soft silk, and the trousers a polyester pique fabric? Sort of like a much, much stiffer version of a polo shirt fabric? Fabric wise they actually couldn't be much more different from each other! The other pair of navy trousers that are on there are I think might match a bit better, but I didn't see them in person so don't know for sure...

I really wanted the knitted/wool pair in grey but didn't even see a single pair of them in the Oxford Circus store!
 
^ Very useful info, cheers. I didn't even see the sweats in store, sold out quick if they did have them.
 
you know.... since everything was label 'Lanvin x H&M Hiver 2010', i'm kind of hoping there'll be a continuation, 'Ete 2011' :lol:

i know that's how they usually label their stuff, but hey, i can always hope, no? theoretically, the 'Hiver 2010' could have been left out.
 
Ha. That's funny. I was having that exact discussion at work yesterday. None of the others have the season so obviously noted on them, and the Matthew Williamson collection did repeat over two seasons. So I suppose we never know, although I have to say I think it might not be the case. The pieces in this collection were hardly all that wintery. The men's trench and jackets were seriously thin fabrics.

The rumours are the next one is Tom Ford. Even Elle's site has a news story up on the rumours.
 
Went to the store in Amsterdam today and I was quite surprised at what was still left! Lots of dresses and some shoes. They were just hanging on some ugly shelving though, did not look nice at all. But the dresses themselves looked really good, I can't wait until my package arrives :D
