Lanvin for H&M (Update....Second Collection?)

I am dissappointed by this , to date I tstill think Cavalli H&M collection was the best , the pricing was great and the hysteria unmatched. I thought Alber would put those fluid Grecian style disco dresses( not in silk but at least polyester and I would still be happy) , pouf blazers , coats , this reminds me more Lacroix in the 80s more than anything. That floral dress is hideous

so much for the collection not being available until the 19th
according to fashionista, the stars like meester and jlo gets it first. lucky them, for not having to take part in the "War" at the Lanvin stores on 23rd.

faux fur coat looks amazing but I just cant understand the color, is it brown or black?

couldn't they have taken those pics with the original pieces? those could very well be the pieces the special collection were based on, no?

Anna's is definitely H&M, The Cut blog states clearly it is, and Leighton turned up in the shoes at an event the other night, so I think it's safe to say they were the Lanvin for H&M shoes anyway. The celebrity seeding side of these collections is huge, and this has by far been the biggest for it. We'll be seeing a fair bit more of it for sure.

I like a few of the pieces but I think I will only end up buying the sunglasses and a couple of lipsticks (that is if I feel bothered to fight the crowds when the collection arrives).

I am wondering which fashion house would be the next target for H&M...
Since Valentino is doing for Gap, impossible is nothing.

same here  instead of these short frilly dresses, it would be so very nice if he put out some of those flowy dresses like from ss08. i kept dreaming of the day i will wear one of those super long jewel colored dress.

despite the shoes being pretty cute, i doubt i will get anything from this collection though. it is just so over-hyped that i feel like im already over it before it even hit the stores.

as far as i remember, the flowy dresses from 2008 were polyester to begin with and not silk. but i believe it lacks the versatility of the dresses which were ultimately released.

i'm really tempted to buy those necklaces and spraypaint them a different color. that magenta is really the only thing that it bothering me about them. the blue or nude version from the runway are way more gorgeous.

I really want to get a pair of the mens shoes in blue I hope they have a small enough size. The pink necklace, the blazer with two buttons and maybe the maids dress although this all depends on what it looks like in person. Anyother girls thinking of getting a pair of the mens shoes?

do you think it'd work? i love them but i would never wear them in those colours.

errm .. did you see this?

Madge and Jlo get denied Lanvin for H&M

I knew there wud be a frenzy ... but they're celebs! They can afford the real thing and even they are lusting after this??

I do not want to even think when the collection debuts the kind of mayhem itll be!

The real thing wont land them on the pages of magazines and newspapers. Wearing pieces of a collection that's not even out yet and has a massive buzz about it will. It's all to do with the PR benefits of it all. H&M will place the pieces on the people they believe are going to give the range the covetable air that it needs.

Although I'm really not sure how much I believe that information. Madonna's part of the H&M 'family' as it were. Can't imagine they'll have refused to loan out to her really..
