Marni for H&M

I am liking this return policy (maybe a bit much I think a week is acceptable). Maybe I will just end up with something. I like that mixed print dress for $79, but is it made of silk or something?

The men's bag is infact leather. Esquire got their credit wrong it would seem. The product page on the H&M site says it's canvas and real leather.

Nope, I specifically check the tote bag for mens (and the womens actually) during the preview and they are indeed fake leather.

Definitely one of the pieces that are absurdly overpriced for what it is.

too bad this bottom garmet shape on Aymeline is just genius styling and not an actual MARNI piece! and the reverse for this men's shirt which looks to be a sleeveless vest thrown on top of a gorgeously layered, rolled-up blouse; wish this were two separate garmets...but if i can swing it i might get this for my man....

As far as what might actually fit into my wardrobe, I'm really digging the crop pants and the cozy looking leggings:

I hope that they are able to enforce the one item/one size/one day return policy, so that re-sellers cannot clear out the shops...

Any idea when the clothes will be available for sale online?
I am hoping to get the mixed print dress, and two scarves. Westfield Stratford is literally 10 minutes away, so if worst comes to worst, I can always pop in first thing in morning.

I was under the impression that she was just wearing the blue parka tied at the waist. The pockets and such match up.

All the menswear pieces are extremely hideous. None of them represent the average H&M customer - which is what Consuelo Castiglioni should of had in mind. It's what I loathe about designer collaborations, nothing is ever wearable. Everything is overpriced hype that ends up on an online auction. I'd take H&M's Divided range over this.
i am not sure which pieces you are referring to but i disagree. MOST of the mens collection is actually pretty restrained and is actually very similar to H&M's trend line - tapered trousers and dichromatic shirts. as a whole, everything (well, not the yellow separates or patterned stuff on a regular basis obviously) is fully wearable.

and being able to see the samples up close and try them on, i can honestly say that they are high quality - compared to the versace stuff from last season.

The short sleeved striped men's jumper is £39.99 and 100% Cashmere? The pricing really is not bad on this collection at all, despite some of the comments.

Realistically I'll be buying the sunglasses, yellow shorts and probably one of the printed shirts I think. I love the scarves but just not sure I'm up for a neckerchief. I want the black leather sandals too but need to see how those look on. One false move and you're a 60+ holiday maker I'm sure.

that's just ridiculous. 3 days even i understand, but 1 day?! people have lives!

The samples were probably faux leather, yes. Which explains why Esquire have it down as being imitation leather in the credit. In production it's leather it would seem. The product description on the site says so, as it does with all other piece involving leather. All real.

Well that's interesting. So what else will be made with different fabrications? Are the cashmere and pieces not going to be? It's absolutely misleading and defeats the purpose of a preview regardless of the fact that it's samples.

The cashmere will be cashmere... I don't understand your point? The fact something is now leather instead of faux-leather, it's going up in quality? Which is an improvement. Cashmere is going to be cashmere. And it's all 100%.

i can understand your confusion. on the product description on HM's american site its not clear what it is made out of either.

does anyone else think the mens' vest is ridiculous? it looks like a dickie. you know those weird garments that are worn underneath another garment.

^I sort of love the navy vest and I'd buy it if only I had any idea of how to wear it without looking like a complete moron

I don't get the shopping system quite well. So I know the women collection is like the Versace one right? But how about the menswear section? Usually people queue up or what(In S'pore branch)? It would be so easy for me if just queue up in the line like Versace last time but now I'm not sure when should I get there, you know, since S'pore is a queue up island.....

Menswear doesn't require a bracelet like womenswear does, but I'd imagine you'd still need to queue fairly early if you're after a few pieces.. Something tells me some of the menswear is going to sit for a while, where as the women's will sell out fairly instantly I imagine.
