I don't know, I imagine most of the attendees just want to have a good time. It's the designers who are styling them and most of the big brands just want to sell their latest collection. People complain about people not following the theme every year. I also think we've barely made a dent in terms of attendees - we've only really seen the LV crowd so far so it's probably a bit premature to call it a flop.
