If anything, they're passing the taxes on to the models, so it's straight profit at 25%.Only about 12,5% after you deduct all taxes. *shrugs*.

He is said to be worth $4 billion but Kerr said he was not bankrolling her skincare line. “It costs a lot and I’m doing all the funding,” she said.
Miranda Kerr: Dress to please your man, ladies, and empower him to be masculine

She has forged a career as one of the world’s best-paid models, but Miranda Kerr is happy to play a more traditional role at home with her billionaire husband.
Women “need to make a little effort” by dressing to please their men, said Kerr, who married Snapchat mogul Evan Spiegel, 27, earlier this year and likes to "empower" him to feel masculine.
While Facebook’s chief operating officer Sheryl Sandberg has issued a manifesto urging women to “lean in” to their jobs, Kerr prefers to “lean back”.
“At work, I’m like, ‘We need to do this!’ and, ‘This needs to happen.’ But at home, I slip into my feminine and empower Evan to be in his masculine,” Kerr said.
Asked what on earth that meant, the model said: “Just be more in my feelings. More gentle, leaning back. It’s a nice balance.”
She added: “My grandma taught me that men are visual and you need to make a little effort. So when [Evan] comes home, I make sure to have a nice dress on and the candles lit. We make time to have a nice dinner together.”
The Victoria’s Secret angel even stuck by her mantra on her wedding day, which took place at the couple’s home in Brentwood, California. On the morning of the ceremony, she could be found roasting a chicken for her husband-to-be, because it is his favourite meal. A caterer took care of the guests.
In an interview with Net-A-Porter's digital magazine, The EDIT, Kerr described Spiegel - seven years her junior - as “a 50-year-old man in a young body”. He is the world’s youngest self-made billionaire.
He has inspired her to scale back the modelling and concentrate on her skincare business, Kora Organics, which is made from Tahitian fruit filtered through rose quartz crystals to give them “a vibration of love”.
“Evan inspired me. He said, ‘Why are you spending your energy working for other companies when you should be focusing on your own? You need to take a risk. If you believe in this, put everything into it,’” she said.
“I’ve modeled for 20 years, it’s just not a priority any more. Now, if an opportunity comes up, I think, ‘Is this in the best interest of my family?’”
Kerr was previously married to Orlando Bloom, the Hollywood actor, and they have a six-year-old son.
She has hinted that there was no sex before marriage in her relationship with Spiegel. “We’re just waiting,” she confessed to an interviewer during their engagement. Asked if another child was on the cards, she replied: “Not until after we get married. My partner is very traditional.”
Spiegel rarely talks about his private life. He founded Snapchat, the social media app, while at Stanford University.
He is said to be worth $4 billion but Kerr said he was not bankrolling her skincare line. “It costs a lot and I’m doing all the funding,” she said.
Well, can't say I'm surprised. She always did seems oddly fascinated with domesticity, just never thought the woman appears to be some 50's Stepford wife reincarnate! The tragedy of the situation is that Evan is hardly 27, so you can imagine if a guy this young is still being conditioned to such an archaic way of life, how on earth can we expect society to progress?
Oh, and....
Well, with Malaysian tyrants, I'm sure!

Wow. Can she just shut up and be irrelevant and filthy rich already? I am really glad that the Aussie media has forgotten about her, but every few months when you think she is gone she says or does something to remind everyone that she is still the worst. Hopefully she can take a few pointers from Spiegel and cease 'talking about her private life.'
Lord... yes, I'm sure what a white, multimillionaire technology CEO needs at home is to feel empowered.![]()
No. If they have to buy the comps at $50 and pay the government tax of 4%, they are paying $52. They would then mark up the 25% from the $52, not the $50. They are still passing the tax on to the models and making a 25% margin. Then the fee should be more than 50 usd, to be fair![]()

Teddy Quinlivan has spent the last few days walking for labels like Coach, Oscar de la Renta, and Tory Burch, emerging as one of the season’s leading faces. But today, Quinlivan is making headlines for a very different reason: She revealed publicly for the first time that she is transgender in a special interview with CNN and released an accompanying video on her Instagram page, instantly stepping into the role of advocate.
Directed by Amber Grace Johnson, the mini-film features Quinlivan speaking candidly about feeling displaced during her youth, when she lived as male. The interview is interspersed with home movies from her childhood and voice-over from her mother about her early years. The story takes viewers into her personal life, from the lengths she went to in order to present as cisgendered to her fears about how potential partners would react. Sharing the information wasn’t easy, but Quinlivan felt it was necessary to speak her truth. “I want to help break the stigma of what it means to be transgender,” said Quinlivan in a statement released with the video. “We need more and more trans voices to speak out and share our humanity so that the world stops seeing us as ‘other.’ ”
Quinlivan’s announcement comes at a time when issues surrounding gender have become increasingly politicized. With the Trump administration banning trans people from the military and murder rates for trans people—particularly those of color—at an all time high, Quinlivan felt she couldn’t idly stand by. “Our rights are under constant threat from the highest levels of our government, and through cruel proposed legislation across the country that is designed to put us in harm’s way. Enough is enough,” she said. “I will use my voice to help our diverse, vibrant, and resilient trans communities overcome these obstacles and thrive.”
With the encouragement of her agency as well as friends like Nicolas Ghesquière, Pat McGrath, GLAAD president Sarah Kate Ellis, and fellow model and intersex advocate Hanne Gaby Odiele, Quinlivan seeks to put her visibility as a model to good use, speaking up about the issues she’s faced and helping to fight against inequality for LGBTQ people everywhere. “We deserve to be treated with dignity and respect both under the law and in our daily lives,” she said. “I will promote love, understanding, and acceptance of trans people.”
The video she posted was beautiful, all the love to her !!!
I remember this article in which an anonymous model talked about being cancelled from a semi exclusive with guaranteed opening at an A list show once they found out she was trans, I'm thinking it could've been her?

Yes, good pick up, I think so too.
I'm certain that it was Teddy who made that post. She's booked so many A list shows.
