What? I'm not a Karlie fan but how is she acting like a baby? As far as I know she hasn't said or done anything.

From what I can see and have read so far, they are taking little jabs at each other. Hanging out with Katy Perry is surely not a big deal, but posting Swish Swish captions and all is a bit childish. You can't tell me that caption is not intentional.

I don't think the Swish Swish caption refers to anything shady. I believe it was a Basketball term or something.

Yeah, the word swish is, but when used as Swish, Swish it takes on a whole new meaning after 2017. Anyway, people are going to believe whatever they want regardless. I personally think these are slightly bitter jabs from both sides, but then again they don't have to mean anything. We'll just never know

I also think it's jabs, lol. Don't know nor care for basketball because it's an American sport, so my mind immediately went to Katy Perry. It's quite comical when you think about it because that's not the image Karlie with her Kookies sends out.

If you believe Blind Gossip, they were ( still are?) actually a couple. Karlie apparently wanted to come out and Taylor didn't. Hence the swish swish term which was intentional, to uspet Taylor.

Mh...and what motivation would Joshua Kushner have to be playing the alibi boyfriend? They've been or pretended to be together for almost six years now, and neither is he very present in the media as her partner nor does he need money. And if he wanted more media coverage, I'm sure he'd find a way, especially after last year's elections.

I'm trying to be an honest source and to show the industry as it is...Each show season, only thousands of new faces are being booked, that means the chances of those who are a bit more experienced and have done a couple of seasons already are decreasing, it gets harder and harder for them to stay on top and to keep the point of view/stand point [not entirely certain what she means here], not impossible, but very difficult. Many aren't even trying any more or do 'direct bookings', although the chances to be invited for castings are much higher when you're in town instead of being flown in from abroad.

Girls are getting soaked in and puked out again one after the other by the industry, you can imagine what that does to the self-confindence of a 16-year-old girl chasing her dream. It's immoral and sickening/disgusting.

They told me I was not a show girl, too tall & too "athletically built," - and they don't have any idea about what kind of person I am, head is thinking [or does she mean: what I'm thinking?? I don't know], I'm ****ing stubborn and decide to go for it anyway. They can kiss my .... The feeling of walking when the music is on point is too amazing to give up on it, especially when you've already invested a lot of time to get your measurements right. They told me my chances for Milan were at 20%. Alright, I'll take the 20% and give them my 120% and see how it turns out. Can't wait. Optimism is everything in life, otherwise you can forget about it right away. I know what I'm talking about. Trust me.

If every girl gave up just because she isn't a new face anymore, do you know what would change in the industry? NOTHING. I went to my agency today and insisted on seeing casting director xy - who is in charge of 95% of the top shows in Milan. They sent me to the new face casting. He recognized me and told me to wait. He saw all of the new faces first (power play) and only then it was my turn. As if I hadn't done all of this before in my first season. I got a callback for one of my favs. The heat is on. Fingers crossed. I won't give up.

Poor thing, she seemed really devastated that she booked so little in NY.

I would definitely prefer to be known as a long term partner of a super successful supermodel who is also really smart than to be associated with the Trumps.
They could also just be friends and he's doing her a favor? People have done that before.

It sounds like a lame excuse. There are girls who are as tall as her walking all the shows. But it's true they come and go each and every season now. Good luck to her in Milan!

sophia wasn't complaining when she was the new face and booking a lot of shows, anyway she's had a better run than most girls.

modelling just isn't a career anymore, they should just try to enjoy it while it lasts and have some plans on the back burner.

I Think folks are missing the point here.Sophia was one of the elite walkers for a couple years she had a presence about her..i think she is just offering her perspective on the difficulties & the cutthroat nature of the biz today .the reason she decided to go to castings again is because she missed walking she knows her chances are slim of booking any shows of note..she actually has a passion for the runway..personally i rather see girls like her walk on the catwalk rather than some of the stuff i see today ..runway modelling is becoming a lost art ..the worst part about this is there are a few girls who can actually walk at a high level but they know the chances of getting shows are so slim that they don't bother casting anymore ..smh ..kudos to Sophie i love her spirit & desire ..
