Model Behavior (PLEASE READ POST #1 BEFORE POSTING)

Karlie Kloss was very very nice in the Teen Vogue video and
she didn't even throw something against Chanel Iman (because I would have done that)

Do you thrown things at people when they've got something to say and you don't ;)

^Well it is her moment, I agree that she is an air-head who has delusions of self-grandeur, but for the sake of diversity I want her around. I wasn't dis-agreeing with you Marcel, just a lot of people have double standards, whereby they'll be like "Oh that Stam" if she does something like steal shoes, but if Chanel speaks about her want to be at the top people are like "b*tch is crazy". She's only 18 and she's done so much models 5-6 years older than her haven't. Why do we think Chanel isn't a valid fashion commodity? Like she's taken some short-cut to success, I mean it's not even like she's from a strong women's board (Ford, who are more famous for their men's board), and she still does shows like Dior and campaigns like Bottega Venetta, something which even Laragh McCann hasn't done.

I'm tired of that Chanel Iman and Masha Tyelna hating posts too,
but I don't hate her or love her, she's just there
and that has nothing to do with her skin colour

No I know I wasn't accusing you of racism or anything, I didn't want it to come out like that. It's just like you said there is a lot on anti-Chanel, Agyness and Masha talk on tfs, like they don't "deserve" to be where they are, and I'm just curious why. I mean considering we're in the Model Behavious thread there are a lot more diva-ish arrogant girls who seem to be loved despite their behaviour, whilst girls like Masha who everyone says is lovely is picked on.

Well I personally think many girls don't deserve to be models with horrible attitudes. With me, I don't think Chanel deserves to model because she just seems to be like every other conceited girl. There are so many short, nice girls that deserve to be models.

absoulutely agree. Masha---> enough said
Chanel she is just annoying and I could care less about her personality she acts like she wants attention :innocent:and given the opportunity to slap her I would:ninja:

I totally agree. Agyness and Masha, from everything I've heard, seem to be perfectly nice individuals. But Stam's behavior is acceptable if you like her look? That makes no sense. I personally don't really care what a model acts like (I'm not the one doing the hiring), but the double standards some people have are ridic.

I think a model's behavior is a huge factor in determining if I like them or not. Having a bad attitude makes them ugly.

I saw this segment backstage at Paul & Joe, with Chanel Iman and Anna Schillingo(sp??)
And Chanel was like grabbing the mic from Anna..
But all I saw was normal teenage behavior that every girl that age would do with her friends.

every girl would desperately grab mic from a friend? lmao i wouldn't call her friend then

I was talking about the Teen Vogue video, Chanel thought it's her interview and totally forgot Ali and Karlie
The video was edited in a way that she was featured more prominently on it than the other two. It just means that the folks at Teen Vogue think that she's pretty awesome....i don't see a problem in that at all ^_^
And why would it be her job to let the others speak up?. People are making it seem as if she physically shoved 'em out of the way for some air time.

Anyway, the anti-Chanel sentiments are expressed not only here on TFS but on various other forums too. Something about her just gets at some people so much and I just think it's hilarious...there are alot of girls that are invisible and no one really has an opinion about. I'm glad Chanel isn't one of them because riling people up the walls just by being around in the industry is a talent in it's own right

well but Chanel has many fans too
she has haters, has fans - she is a star

These girls are models, not your best friends. Having a nice personality does not make you a good model. A girl like Stam, as bitchy as she is, delivers, in my opinion. I do not even find her attractive, but I find her ad campaigns and editorials are consistently good, which is all matters to me since I do not have to deal with her personally.
Re: Chanel. The girl is like Agyness to me: a trend with no future (or at least I hope). I don't hate her but I don't care in the slightest whether she is a good person: I just don't want her in the magazines I read. I just saw her in a Vogue editorial and the only thing I could think of is: why do they use a 12 year-old kid to sell women's clothes? She doesn't even look like an adolescent to me, she looks downright prepubescent, and that's my only problem with her.
As for those who want her around just for diversity sake, I am appalled by this prospect. I don't expect Vogue to be affirmative action monthly, I only care about the quality of the models, regardless of race.

^I agree. And very few people know these girls personally, and even fewer who know them well.
