Model Casting F/W 16.17

Well that's really sweet of Marc. But he strikes me as a nice and lovely guy.

Ine Neefs loses few good shows, but she's still booked some of them. more exclusivity for her manager, and works always with good photographers.

about CBN, really surpresing this season, i didn't expect her debut, new strategy of management... hope she's book more good shows at upcoming fashion weeks. she's good catwalker and i think it's her time to slay the fashion business. haha

strange casting at MJ...

i'm sad anna mila didn't do well in NY :( but i got a feeling milan will love her.

Amie Robertson showed yesterday in London. She's Marc Jacobs' former design assistant (he sat front row) and Katie Grand styled the show. That's why big names as Edie Campbell, Georgia May, Molly Bair, Grace Hartzel, Kiki Willems walked the show.

Since Piergiorgio took over Simone Rocha, it's been one of London's finest.

It seems like skipping London isn't en Vogue anymore, I think all the topwalkers are there.

i posted in the casting director thread, but who casts David Koma? there is not one ethnic girl. no black, asian, latin. really shamefull for everyone involved in that show. who is the stylist?

Why, why, why are designers letting Molly Bair close their shows? I'm sorry but she should hardly be cast in most of these presentations, let alone close them.

Perhaps you could sell me the idea that she has a minute molecule of appeal in the print department but on the runway she's bringing a full on ogress chic and I'm not digging it (perhaps I'm really now too old/out of sync with fashion!).

Julia B. was at McQueen. I knew she was only going to do a handful of shows but why McQ? Who's in charge behind the scenes?

Completely agree on all points, however her closing MJ last week actually worked.

It's Alexander McQueen collection, not McQ. It's arguably the biggest shows in London if you don't consider Burberry, but they are only interested in British models (though she might walk the show tomorrow, too). She actually stands a chance to get a McQueen campaign.

Plus, Camilla Nickerson is styling.

I know Natalie wrestling has the campaign so that can't be it. I agree strange management decision to be in a London show, even if it is McQueen, in the middle.

^Why? London is just as big as NY in terms of casting, all the top walkers are there. And it's not like she's a mega supermodel...
