NYFW doesn't have the big shows that attract get supermodels/topmodels at the start of it too. I feel like less people get excited about it too.

I remember waiting for Altuzarra, Diane von Furstenburg, Calvin Klein, Alexander Wang and Donna Karan before.

Conflicts maybe?
And it's obvious that the international brands are catering to Asian markets aggressively this season like RL, Tommy, and upcoming Kors. $ rules the casting process now.
