Bregje just walked the VS runway show, I know a lot of people don't consider it a fashion runway, but it is pretty big for a girl's career.

She had one successful season and then just disappeared.

What about Cato van Ee? Can we consider her as a one hit wonder? In Holland it was the next doutzen kroes etc. Big thing with prada/miumiu excl and d&g campaign. and from there it went all down. Now its just marie claire, elle and flair.

About Bregje: sure it's a big thing and i really hope more comes from it .

Other ons who were supposed to big but it's still really quite around: Nicole Hofman, Nicola Haffmans and Svea Kloosterhof. they were all prada excl. or semi - excl. and now? nothing.

I would say all of the argentinian girls who really stood out that season Antonella Graef, Dafne Cejas, Tetyana Melnychuk, Carla Gebhart... I haven't heard anything more from those girls

I would also add Anya Kazakova.

^^Svea Kloosterhof was a worldwide Marc Jacobs exclusive this season, so maybe thats why you haven't seen her as much. We might be able to call her a one-hit wonder if she doesn't score the campaign.........

I wouldn't consider Svea Kloosterhof or Kelly Moreira, because i think they don't even get to be one hit wonder, Svea it's not was never everywhere during one season, and an exclusive i don't think it's enough... and Kelly... i don't even know who she is.

^Kelly was the black girl in that JPG campaign with Crystal Renn. I personally consider a JPG campaign to be a hit, therefore she is a one hit wonder. She was also heavily talked about when she walked the Lanvin Spring 2009 show.

One hit wonders don't book the VSFS, so Bregje is not a one hit wonder. One hit wonders are girls who have fallen off everyones radar after a big booking, there is more hype around Bregje more then ever.

Oxana Pautova! HUGE runway season with all the right bookings and then not even one good print job, let alone ads. Next season, nowhere to be heard of.

But you know who was not only the biggest one hit wonder of them all & was completely chewed up & spat out... gerren Taylor

^ Sedene's print bookings were really impressive though. NY Models did a lot for her. I'm not sure any other agency would have been able to get her jobs with Patrick Demarchelier, Mikael Jansson, Bruce Weber, Karl Templer, Camilla Nickerson etc. She's been in every top magazine minus US Vogue. For a girl whose only blue chips shows have been Marc and LV IIRC that's pretty good and so I'm sure she and her agency aren't too bitter about her moment passing, because she acheived a lot for someone with little to no hype.

Lyndsey is a bit more puzzling, as she had a strong runway season and some really good print bookings but I think Click Models weren't sure how to capitalize on her W and Love eds.

R'el, well we've all heard she's wasn't the easiest girl to work with and apparantly only wanted money jobs. IDK how true that is, but might have also been the resemblance to Jourdan, an already established girl, that did her in.

Cato Van Ee, i can't believe i forgot, it's wierd because she came to light after that reality show and the Prada exclusive in fall 2008, and next season she appeared in many runway shows, including Prada again... but i feel like her beauty never got transfered to print work. Or maybe her Agency didn't know how to capitalize all the publicity she had.

Carla Gebhard do appeared in selective shows the following seasons, for instance Versace, Calvin Klein or Balenciaga (she even go their campaign two seasons later). You cannot put her in the same categorie like Antonella or Tetyana because she has been around for more than one season. I still have to admit that I don't really know how good she is booked printwise.

Of course not in the same category, but she only had 2 good seasons, this past season she only did CK if i'm not wrong. It's true she was really selective her second season, but i would consider those 2 season including her Balenciaga campaign "her" hit. But maybe i am putting her in this category so fast and her career hasn't fade away.
