My thoughts exactly, it's like when James Scully said about Lakshmi during his 2008 castings that "the trend is towards the white girl" I can't get over it though. It just bothers me to no end that color plays so much role in the industry, when it matters so little in every other industry in the world today.

Right now I think Henna Lintukangas (her thread http://forums.thefashionspot.com/f52/henna-lintukangas-150279-9.html ) deserves more, she definitely has the hunger and much better look than many others, though she does not have the look I usually fall into. But I recognise obvious potential when I see it. She has walked quite a few shows on last seasons, but nothing very big and there is very little editorial and none (?) ads for her.
