Prada F/W 10.11 Milan

I've just watched Belle de Jour and these two coats caught me eye. Ring a bell, don't they?

^ They're hardly identical. They're just a similar style of coat (double breasted, no lapel, straight cut). But the collar, pockets and sleeves are completely different.

Besides, the Prada collection was referencing the early 60s, so it's not surprising to see similarities between the styles of that decade and the clothes Miuccia showed.

Since when were such coats trademarked in design?

It would be like Burberry suing every single maker of any trench coat.

C'mon guys. Puh-leeze.
