lol Neither did I, it's a little disconcerting...Admittedly I've always liked the Prada mainline collection, but in the past few seasons I've developed a deeper affinity for it - I feel like I understand what she's trying to do.softgrey said:i didn't know you were such a fan of prada....![]()
There's a self-awareness to Prada that I find fascinating. It seems like Miuccia knows exactly where the label needs to be - at the head of the pack, but not ahead of it - and with each new collection she deliberately works out a new way to stay there. Balancing creative and commercial impulses is nothing new, of course, but lately Prada just seems to be doing it better, and more consistently, than anyone else.
