i agree w/ amelie, mediocre fashion. she knows what shapes fit her body, but wears too many weird colors and prints that don't suit her. it always looks like she has just one too many things going on, and her shoes are unflattering. i don't know where she's from, but you can't rock the cali girl style as a pale petite brunette, you'd be better of with cleaner east coast styling.

story of my life, as a pale, petite brunette...and from the east coast. i'm SO GLAD i can't rock the california girl style, as i find it tacky. i think rachel bilson is really good at wearing what she does, and if i were to compare her to her boring oc counterpart, mishca barton, i'd say that rachel looks 100% better.

She is a trend-follower for sure, however, you have to look at the audience she's playing to; 16-20 yr. old middler-american girls. In her position it wouldn't help to be overly flashy or avant-garde in her red carpet choices. The way actors dress strongly effects their career and I think the choices are alot more calculative than people think.
