Pink is a shade that evokes a fresh look and feeling on anyone who wears it. It can give a sense of youth and sweetness when you blush on a rose or petal pink blush. My favorite combination this season is cool neutral browns on eyes and pretty shades of pink on the cheeks and lips.. Pink comes in many desirable tones. Pale pinks can look very classic and retro with a cat eye and a full lash, while a sheer rose pink can look fresh and natural. Deep raspberry pinks look great on darker skin tones. On Rachel Bilson I wanted to create a young pretty look that complimented her skin tone and beautiful brown hair. I first evened out Rachel's complexion with a touch of a primer/luminizer and a liquid foundation and I used no powder, just a few blotting sheets to control shine while keeping the skin looking fresh and glowing. The eyes were kept soft with subtle touches of soft brown and pale cherry blossom pink eyeshadows. I used an off-white rose eye shadow over her entire eyelids and lightly contoured her eye lid crease with a soft brown, then using a thin wet eye shadow brush, I lined her eyes with a dark brown eye shadow as a liner along Rachel's lash line. Keeping the line very thin so it doesn't look too defined. The main focus is showcasing the pink on the cheek and lips.
Rachel's cheeks were given a blend of rose and petal pink blush for a vibrant flush of color in the apples of her cheeks.. Since this look is about keeping it fresh and pretty. I applied a beautiful shade of sheer pale pink lip gloss on Rachel's lips and finished the look by coating and curling Rachel's lashes with black mascara. The eye lash curler really opens the eyes and gives a glamorous look with out a lot of eye make-up. I love this look on Rachel and think it's a perfect look for a young bride and even a girl in her teens. Blossom in this season's prettiest shade of pink. What's your favorite pink?
The products I used to create this look were from Chanel.
