there are alot of blue chips ready-to-wear campaigns that giselle hasn't done eg. chanel(until now), prada, gucci. so i dont mind seeing her in chanel.

my problem with giselle is she always look like giselle in almost every campaign. she is not versatile in my opinion.

That's mainly my problem with the majority of her work. Granted, there was that Balenciaga by Klein campaign which really proved to be the exception of this charge.

Gisele is a very versatile model. It all depends on how they style her. Most of the times they want her to look very "Gisele" because it sells, but she can easily take a more edgy approach like in all her Balenciaga ads.

You can say the same thing about Claudia Schiffer...and Naomi Campbell...and Cindy Crawford...and Kate Moss. These girls are brands now and when someone books them they expect Gisele or Claudia or Naomi, etc. not someone who looks like a version of them.
This thing about certain girls being chameleons is kind of inaccurate. When was the last time I saw Linda E. and thought, Wow she looks so different I'm just blown away. No, it's still Linda E., no matter how what color her hair is or cut she got etc. Same thing with Karen Elson. There's still a look or quality about them that we instantly recognize, and that's why they're so successful.
The only true chameleons, as far as I'm concerned are the girls who are so non-descript or who look like a thousand other models that they don't even register with me.
For me someone like Gisele is indeed versatile b/c she can do the coy look, the drop-dead sexy look, the charismatic full-blown smile look, and the high fashion pose as well as the commercial pose.

Balmain has become such a wannabe brand.

However, I've always said that Karlie would be great for Michael Kors. Hope it's true.

Precisely! Everybody us trying to shove these girls down our throats. It was a short lived and futile effort in 2010, and it will be so again. I find the majority of these girls' 'work' lack range. Just give them Versace or D&G and be done with it!

"A 2010 thing." You mean when Adriana got Givenchy? She has been getting at least one big campaign a season since then which the other VS girls can't say, so it's definitely not just a "thing". Plus, I would hardly say it's being shoved down your throats when she's the only one who has been snatching weaves this year. It's not like in 2010-2011 when several of the VS girls were going at it at the same time.

But yeah, Adriana for Versace please. I can agree with that.
