3° Rachel Weisz (I can’t believe she look the mirror before leaving and said:" I look good". it's just blah)

1° Hilary Swank (the color is hideous but the whole face look is so at least she is coordinated)

I think everyone looked shocking this year in comparison to previous years. I thought most of the celebrities looked ridiculous. Way too flashy and just way too much. The one that stood out for me is Ashley Olsen in The Row (simple, classic) and the anonymous in Jil Sander!

I think most of the models looked SUPER though! I LOVED Stam, Anna Jagodzinska, Lily Donaldson, Raquel, Claudia, Lara, Daria and Carmen Kass.

For me the biggest surprise was Miranda Kerr in Jil Sander! As much as I despise her aesthetic of commercialism - I thought she looked AMAZING. Probably one of the best.

The biggest disappointments were Kate Moss (in a matching dress/turban wtf?), Madonna (FAUX-PAS of the DECADE! More ridiculous than Bjork's swan dress! ) and MK Olsen (way too costume-y).

I'm also disappointed that no one wore Prada, Gucci, YSL, Lanvin or Balenciaga!!! Not ONE Balenciaga dress!!

I like Madonna and Kate Moss the most here,come on.This is not an average event!
The only thing Kate Moss keeps doing wrong is that tan,she looks best pale.Her dress is gorgeous.
Daria looked hot but still it is an average look for this event.

Jessica Biel (minus the tan) looks wonderful.

I do not see this double standard at all, Merveille. The fake tan was completely unnecessary for Jessica's overall look. Fake tans are supposed to add to the sexiness factor of a look, and Jessica's dress was just not a sexy dress! On the other hand, Gisele's dress is the height of sexiness, therefore the tan was completely warranted, in my opinion.

Plus, Jessica's fake tan is so obviously fake; bad taste! Gisele's tan looks natural, at least.

and maybe i´m the only one, but i like Leighton Meester - it´s funny and not boring as the other girls like Rachel Bilson or Emmy Rossum

Madonna - maybe, it´s joke, but i´m not sure... I don´t think Madonna can make jokes about yourself... guess, she took this dress very serious
Victoria Beckham - ha, ha, ha - not good, especially shoes are terrible
Winona Ryder - no comeback at Star Trek movie, no comeback at Costume Institute Gala
Cindy Crawford and Donatella Versace - sorry, but both look so cheap
Anne Hathaway - like from eighties prom night

Rihanna - wtf??? hideous
Hilary Swank - sooooo boring, and fabric of the dress looks so sweaty or something
