do we have any more photos of miranda kerr? my jaw dropped to the floor when I saw her. good god, THAT is sexy. I don't know what people are talking about when they say that Gisele looks sexy...I think it crossed the line into trashy (maybe at a different event it would have been different.)
Quite honestly, I think the absolute worst of the night was Jessica Alba. I can't put my finger on what exactly makes it such a travesty, but it reminds me of what girls would wear at my high school for new years eve or something. the totally mediocre dress plus the completely unnecessary tights (which just make it frumpy) and then add to that the outdated hair. competely epic fail.
honestly, they should invite a handful of actors (if that) and then just let the real muses and fashion icons have the show. they're the only ones who take risks.

the best: claudia, diane and daria, bay far.
lous dillon: very interesting, in a good way
marion: very pretty in an understated way
chanel: looked amazing despite the dress itself not being the best

the rest: mostly awful with a few averages (lily d, kate bosworth)

The woman in the white, fringe Jil Sander...

Everyone looks so contrived, orange, and/or boring. Isn't this a Costume Met? Where's the excitement and drama? So Zzz this year...

Erin looks excellent. Gaultier, no? Marion looks lovely as does Iman.
Ashley (?) Olsen looks nice, too, even though her height is all wrong for that particular look.
I appreciate Leighton Meester's look, however, it feels and looks like the look is wearing her, sadly...

Blake Lively... why does she do such ugly things to herself???? Such a pretty girl!

i see that i am THE ONLY ONE who enjoyed Madonna look - well Also love Ash Olsen look ( maybe little to safe but hey she designed her own dress so i must give her some extra points for that ), Shalom coz it's crazy, Stam - she looks lovely, K.Dunst - lovely but maybe not in the theme, Lou Dillon - great , great dress, Kate bosword - lovely lace ress

rest is either boring or damn ugly. Not the best GALA this year which is shame - we always have events like Oscars or Cannes to see nice dresses - MET is about other things.
