i think it´s very cute, but i´m not sure if i would wear it

Bought this stuff today. Dress and shorts from the garden collection and a nail polish in a color I haven't been able to find anywhere - a lighter version of Chanels Jade and with no hints of blue/mint undertones.

BTW. the dress is really, really small on the top part. I'm usually a 34 but had to get it in a 36 and still it's pretty snug.

i saw the butterfly ring at my local H&M store and it looked uncomfortable.

i bought this 30$ dress. it looked large. i might have to exhange the 6 for a 4. the arm holes look a bit big. going to try it on and see what happens.

did anyone try on the kimono dress? i think it was 20$. i did not see it at my store. ive heard from other folks that the material feels awful.

i saw the 50$ tencil dress that is multicolored. it didnt seem worth that amount. i did not see the skirt.

the whole garden collection is at my local h&m now.
andddddddddd, i found the lace jacket!!!!! but in cream, and i think the smallest size there was a 6--but i didn't really check. they didn't have the black one, but i'll probably just check a bigger h&m close by because idk if i want the cream one. i would've tried it on, but my bus transfer was going to expire and i didn't have enough money anyways.
and it's $59.95 CAD.

in NYC is there a show room alike h&m where the collections arrive earlier?

actually, is there even a black one?
i might just get the cream one then...........

I saw the coolest ring - A huge golden flower, approx. 6cm in diameter and 3cm high
I think I need to go back there asap to get it :D

i just wanted to comment on the rosette dress. the bottom part looks nice but i think the bodice part is lacking. looks like it doesnt have enough "structure". i didnt think it was worth the 40$. the corresponding jacket was expensive IMO.

im going to check one more H&M for the garden collection kimono dress tonight. apparently its VERY sheer.

got the kimono dress <3

debating if i should keep it?

my friend also picked up the cream rose dress for a shoot and the other cream dress which i may buy from her afterwards.. depending

i so wanted that dress that you might return..... but my friend didnt find it, so got me a skirt..... :(

I was lured into H&M today, with the posters of Natasha Poly/Garden Collection in the windows today.

I tried on these great pair of khaki jeans from Mens Divided. But they were too tight, around the legs for me.
They did say slim fit as well, but where very narrow and tight. I don't even have thick legs.. and a bigger size, would of been too big around the waist. Shame.

Im going tomorrow to check out the garden collection... hopefully they arent still scattered about the store now that they should have the whole collection.

love the nail polish!
any clues where can I find it in London?

I've bought this swimsuit recently and I have to say the colors are very pretty and it looks lovely even without the strap on you neck ;)

I love that swimsuit! Ive never seen swim wear at our H&M unfortunately.

Well, I got there this morning to see that my store got most of the collection. :D

I tried on almost everything, and wound up buying the rose dress, the kimono dress, and the blue flutter-sleeve dress. I don't have problems with the fabrics at all, but the kimono and blue dresses are so sheer! You don't notice it as much with the kimono because of the pattern, so I doubt it would be an issue unless you were wearing bright knickers, but the blue one is like... negligee sheer.

I love it so much that I bought it anyway and just have to find a nude slip to wear under it, but be aware if you're buying that one that it will need something under it, unless you're really bold.

The creme origami dress was gorgeous, but I too found it very small in the bust. I took a picture for my friend - I'm wearing a size 2, but if I'd decided to buy it, I would have had to get a 4.

I also tried the smocked dresses, which were kind of cute on the hanger and would have been nice casual dresses or cover-ups, but they didn't fit me very well and kind of looked like maternity dresses on me.

Photos from www.hmthegardencollection.com and the last one is my own.

I stood in line at my store for about 45 minutes. There were only about 5 people when I got there but the line grew steadily until the doors opened at 9:57AM. Several very nice ladies I met while in line helped my petite self reach for the dresses that were hung up high. I ended up purchasing the cream and red strapless rosette dresses, the blue shorts, the colorful skirt, the linen jacket, and the ruffly-floral mini dress.

Purchased:

Tried on and did not look good on me:

Everyone wanted this jacket! All the ladies in line couldn't stop talking about it.

Overwhelming on my 5'1" frame. Ran smaller than the other dresses in the bust.. couldn't zip up the 4.

This item was surprisingly popular and I couldn't find a single one in sight! I'm guessing the low price point was a huge draw? I wanted to purchase it for casual days in the sun..

All in all, it was a surprisingly successful trip. The crowds weren't too overwhelming, which was not what I expected.. and the items were satisfactory. I will return one of the rosette dresses, just don't know which one yet. Everyone was pushing for me to get the red one but I liked the cream for some reason... The jacket I'm iffy about as well.

Wow. I just walked in at about 10:05, and there were like two other customers in the store and everything was fully stocked. You must live in a more fashionable place than I do!

Oh I forgot to credit the images--

all from hmthegardencollection.com

I'll upload some modeling pics if anyone wants to see.

diormouse: The store I went to gets A LOT of traffic. I was expecting huge crowds. There was a mini argument in the latter stages of waiting but once the doors opened, it was pretty civil.

kattiepie, how did the rosette jacket run? Same as H&M regular sizing, or large? TIA! Great buys btw - love the linen jacket!

lightened - You found the lace jacket! How did it look in person? Which location did you see it at? So excited!
