Is this top still available in the shop (if so, which one is it, I am not sure if it is one of them) or disc.?

Jenna-maria, i own that dress in white. i like it--it runs a bit big and has low sides by the armpits. very cute!

I purchased a couple of their leather pouches to use a clutches. Great price on those.

AA was really close in filing bankruptcy....i still think they are. theyre clothing has gotten worse and worse. i wss there today and every new item looked cheaply made. also, their return policy is ********. no returns? wtf...lame

i don't think theyre closing down.

i find that they have higher priced items which i dont get at all.

I have some of them too, in black leather. They're great as clutches and have a lot of character once you wear them in. The medium size is the best.

I like the new long crossback knit dress. It's not that expensive and it's comfortable. I could probably layer it for Fall too.

^^I purchased the black in large and the tan in medium. I may have to get the black in medium too.

I do hate their return policy though. Who ever heard of NO returns.

i agree that some of their stuff is very badly made. i love their strapless bodysuits and have noticed size variations. however, a lot of their stuff is awesome and makes you look great, ie: the disco pant! their v-neck tees are my most comfy tees ever. still def a fan of aa, the prices not so much!

i think one of their problems too is the fast that their clothes dont ever change.

how many times have you said, oh i want that but ill get it next time because it never goes away.

american apparel needs to get in the game of exclusivity. do limited editions and collaboration designs.

why would they need to do collaborations? that would probably be harder and more expensive, since everything is made in the u.s. i think the best thing about the brand is that their clothes don't change, but they still add different pieces and variations on what they already have.

well its the great thing about them and the worst thing about them.

if h&m had a design collab would you be more interested in buying that or american apparel? most people will be urged to buy the collab because its limited. even the fact that stores change every season is a limited time offer. american apparel doesnt really do that.

personally, i have been putting off buying their tshirts because i know its always going to be there. its been like 4 years since i bought my original ones.

I bought 3 of their "Sexuali-Tee's" last week and totally love them. I'm 5'5 and purchased the +1 size which is plenty big - but it's so drapey and soft. I purchased neutrals - but might have to get a colored one next.

yeah, but american apparel's brand is based on classics and staples. design collaborations are such a fast-fashion thing - very trendy and they don't have a lasting presence. after awhile, it just looks passe. i don't really see how that move would make sense for this brand.

i which the sexuali-tee had a tighter neck though! instead i bought the burn out see thru shirt that have been on sale for a while now.

theyre reallly delicate and thing though so im worried of wearing it.

^^Really? I like how loose the neckline is - it lets it fall off your shoulder if you want.

Some of their tank tops and t-shirts are so low quality but I love, asbolutely love their hoodies. Great colours and shape.
Also I bought this one last year and I love it!
I have it in ginger ( I think ) but in real life it is more like olive green, looks nice with all black clothes.
