I love Blake and I'm very glad that she got the cover. I don't understand why so many are slagging her off though. She's a very beautiful and lovely girl, why doesn't she deserve to be on the cover?
The preview of the eds also look really good so far. I think I have to buy this issue.

If someone in the cast of Gossip Girl deserves to be on a vogue cover is Leighton Meester, she`s absolutely stunning and looks amazing in covers...
Do I like Blake Lively))....No!
Do I think she deserves to be on the cover on any fashion magazine...No!
Do I think the cover is awful...God No!
I think Vogue had to make her look this beautiful for this cover, as they had to proof why they picked her as one of the best dressed of 2008,,,Its a weird thing that pick, but they have to show us at leaste she`s`pretty and with her hair in the right place,,,she graces a cover in a very nice way.
I love "it`s a madcap world", I think it shows us the best of spring with amazing Top models,, I cannot wait to see the other eds, Im hoping for the best of this issue cause so far it looks like the Vogue us you have to have.
the only think im not loving at the moment is the Agyness editorial,,,why Her???
I thought her time had passed, she was the it girl, but now she`s the one everybody invites to the parties to make fun of,,,cause the poor girl is always trying soooooo HArd....she`s awful!! she is the only thing ruinning this issue at the moment.

Wow, this issue seems great. It's a Madcap World is really good - the casting, the styling, the theme, the photography...
I'm glad that Vogue US is starting to change a bit. I wouldn't call it change, I think that it's kind of a return from the 90's and beginning of the the 00's. Let's wait and see

No, seriously I think the cover is quite nice. She looks good (yes, even if there is much photoshop, but hey: what's not, in mags?) and the colours are pretty nice too I think. Probably because my expectations about US Vogue aren't that high anyway, but I like it
Even if it's maybe a little boring... but I'll suppress my inner perfectionist this time
Especially because I really love the eds! Madcap World is just amazing

You just can't hate on this.

Meisel needs to be in every issue of Vogue US. I could stand for 100% more Meisel and about 50% less Sims. At least the Vogue variant of Sims which strips him of most of his edge.

I wish I had a copy of this image without any text whatsoever. It's flawless as far as I'm concerned.

I find it funny how Leighton Meester got Teen Vogue, and here Blake has Vogue US.

She looks beautiful, and this cover brightens up a cold dull day.

It seems like a decent issue, Luxx as always thanks alot for all the scans, and reviews.Love Meisel's editorial, and think Lively's ed is very well done, Vogue so seldom does sexy covers and spreads of their subject's, and it works here.I feel pretty much like what Spike wrote, i dont care who is on the cover anymore, as long its a cover beautifuly done.
Vogue had some random cover choices before (Ivana Trump anyone?Or her replacement Melania Knavs, Lisa Marie Presley.etc) so i think this "is she worthy to be on the cover" argument is irrelevent in this time and age.
