US Vogue January 2020 : The 'Vogue Values of 2020' by Annie Leibovitz

all 4 fours are amazing. Ashley & Greta are a better than other 2 but all of them are gorgeous.

After seeing all the covers. I gotta say my favorites are Cardi B and Ashley!!! I think Stella might have the weakest of the four, even though it’s still a great shot!
Kudos to Vogue on FOUR amazing covers. I just hope I can get all four covers when they hit newsstands!!

Cardi’s daughter is too cute, but I do agree that the styling could have been a little better. The red isn’t working, but AMAZING that Cardi B is the first FEMALE rapper to get a American Vogue cover.

Trash. Desperation. Vogue.

Trashier, and more desperate than when Kim Kardashian got the cover. And that vulgar pose is spot on and deserved. May this magazine sink to the bottom and remain there!!

This woman has time and again proved to the world that moving above your circumstances does not necessarily make you a person with better values if you're really rotten to the core. No amount of money and success could redeem her. She dared a more talented and successful woman to a fight at a red carpet event, consistently glorified a vulgar and classless persona, made light of drugging and robbing men, and as recent as this weekend went to a third world country and put of on a disgusting display. Because she can. And in spite of all this, she is put forward as some role model? She emulates Vogue Values!?!:sick::sick: As if this agenda wasn't toxic enough already, Anna Wintour just showed how desperate she is to sell a 150-page pamphlet.

I wonder if only one cover is being sent to subscribers or if all four are an option. I think I hope to receive Ashley's or Cardi's.

Thats the only thing that kinda makes this cover redeeming in my book. It’s sad that a male rapper made the cover of Vogue first.

Whoa, just reaching a major nadir in their history, Wintour has had so many bad choices this year! Just as a longtime Vogue reader, I don't recognize their fit to what Vogue is selling, and has been standing for!

Cardi is awful, but here is the thing she DOES deserve to be here. Don't even get at me with that "she is not a fashion icon" nonsense!! Since when do only Fashion Icons get US Vogue? Please! She is the most successful female rapper of today, from that major Grammy, to the best selling album, and chart topping tracks to appearing in Hustlers in the best cameo usage ever, how on earth can you try and diminish her relevance?

There have been plenty of cover girls with not even an OUNCE of her success! I don't listen to her music, i saw few interviews, and tidbits, and it's very clear vulgarity is her MO, but she is not a shock on this cover for me! And boy it's an awful cover, just incredibly bad! It looks like a Leibovitz test shot before she warms up the subject!!

US Vogue has been dead to me for a while, but this year it's truly buried!

Wasn’t it already obvious when she had Madonna (back then really controversial) on the cover 20 years ago? And on a different tone, the Spice Girls, Britney or even Kim?
I’m personally not shocked by this...
She has used the same tricks for the past 30 years and it’s almost funny to see how outrageous the reactions are everytime...

It’s all about keeping the magazine relevant...At all cost. This proves that Vogue still matters and I must admit that overtime, this kind of props makes me smile...

There's a reason I've typed '150-page pamphlet'......Vogue isn't what it was back then or even in 2014. And correct, it has been done before. But each time she sinks lower. And this is lower than 2014.

So not only is the fashion industry attempting to greenwash itself, they'll also package their posturing in the regressive form of showing us pregnancy and babies, because they represent the future in its most simplistic form, and are an easy appeal to emotion.

Speaking generally, I would be more concerned about the current values and decisions surrounding women in America who don't wish to bear children, and what that means for the future of everyone involved.

I look forward to Vogue's fashion interpretation of The Handmaids Tale in an upcoming issue.

They've just thrown themselves firmly in the camp of the pro-lifers, which I find so tone-deaf considering just last year the world watched in suspense as a powerful battle was waged (and luckily won) to overturn an age-old ban in Ireland, a country and culture which they revere the most. It's not that I'm against motherhood, it's the mere fact that a child is being pushed as the ultimate ideal with these covers.

Oh Lola701 i don't know who you are, but i agree on everything what you said. It's really hilarious the reaction of some people on this thread...and i think it show the worst on people....

It was about time that Cardi B gets a Vogue cover....and what Nicki Minaj is feeling about this? Im sure she had her chance to have a cover but somehow she lost it....

The Cardi cover is terrible. It's only redeeming quality is her adorable baby.
Cardi is not attractive or photogenic, but kudos to her for landing a Vogue cover.
It's a win for every latina in the south Bronx.

Ugh, can't believe i'm seeing Cardi on a Vogue cover. They've hit rock bottom now. What a way to start a new decade.

She might be one of the least photogenic famous women in my opinion, but I'm in love with Cardi's cover! She looks absolutely adorable with her daughter.
It's incredible how much buzz the cover caused on tfs alone... I'd really like to know why some of you believe Cardi is Vogue's rock bottom? What makes her so low in your eyes? Is it the stripper background? The vulgar and openly sexual behavior? How is that still so ''controversial'' in 2020? Not every woman wants to be America's sweetheart.

Also wanted to leave this bop here, cause she truly did that lol
