Oh and I love Lara's too. Love the contrast between the harsh hair and makeup versus the clothes.

As always, thanks, visualoptimism, for the posts!!

Thanks to the fs members who posted snaps and scans! I have to say that the more I look at the Sims/Arizona editorial, the more I swoon. It is something I have not seen in Vogue in terms of mood and styling (just noting a subtle difference). I'm getting a little bored of Lara- she seems to be in the slump I noticed Gisele was in a couple of years ago where she kind of just stood there as Gisele and forgot to model in her dynamic way. The Lara editorial is quite lovely anyway though. I can't wait to get this issue!

Caroline's editorial is so effortless, mesmerizing and crisp. Nautical Signals with Lara oozes appeal, McDean contributed that something extra to a standard studio shoot, I'm a sucker for windswept hair. Interesting to witness Mert and Marcus' photography compliment US Vogue's cover aesthetics too.

RE: Trentini

Release her from that grey screened studio prison more often.

I hope Jessica Chastain can snag a future cover. She'd make for some lovely editorials.

Swept Away kind of makes me think of that movie The Piano.

Too funny! I thought the exact same thing when I first saw it here!

Swept Away does remind me of the film The Piano, too but in a lighter mood. It's a brilliant editorial.

It's also reminiscent of an editorial for US Vogue in 1994 by Ellen Von Unwerth, inspired by The Piano.
