I was thinking about getting there @ 6AM for an 8AM opening... do I really need to be there the night before ? This line doesn't even seem like it would appeal to that many people if you kwif.

Due to sheer laziness, does anyone know whether the full collection be in all NYC stores or only a select few? TIA!

That is way too late, you'll definitely be around the corner. You have to remember that there are also Ebay vultures who ban together to buy multiple items. I have never been past #5 on a line and I line up everytime at 11 or midnight.

The jacket Kanye wore, the women's version, are some of the worst quality pieces from the collection. For me this is the cheapest a collection has been. Lanvin's fabrics were beautiful, but seeing the Versace pieces up close and feeling them... they're really not. That jacket feels seriously cheap. The jersey pieces are awful too. It's quite disappointing in that respect.

Really? That's surprising. A blogger fave of mine confirmed that the whole collection was pretty luxe for H&M. He bought nearly 100% of the menswear collection. What's the body of the bomber jacket Yeezy wore made of? I've had my eye on it for awhile, but I hoped it wasn't cheap.

i just saw a few pieces of the collection in the windows of the nyc flagship store. i actually like the leather jacket, but it was clear the quality of the leather was not that great, which of course is no one's fault, it's just the price point, but it was put together very nicely, it felt somewhat nice too. The black fabric studded skirt was cute, my 2 fave items were the black leather bag and the printed baroque (?) fabric bag. the silver shoes were nice, i didn't care for the black patent leather version. the black leather dress seemed cute, but i couldn't see it very well it was hidden under the furry stole. The heart dresses were put together nicely, but i don't like them, so that doesn't help. lol. The studded bags looked just okay for the price point.

I like the mens collection better in a way, in general. I do want the fabric bag though, a ring, and the studded skirt.

What's the body of the bomber jacket Yeezy wore made of? I've had my eye on it for awhile, but I hoped it wasn't cheap.

It's a velour of some kind, it has a pile to it. Feels really cheap. It reminded me of animal toys I used to have as a kid where they've made them appear more 'realistic' by giving them that odd sort of textured felt/velour feel. If that makes any sense?

No, never thought to take photos. But there are shots on the internet especially at the flagship store. That one is absolute insanity when it comes to lines.

I lined up as soon as the store closed for Lanvin and lo and behold not 10 minutes later people started to show up.

I hate how I live so far away from an H&M but then I love that I don't have to deal with the craziness of lines.

I wish I could still get items from the menswear collection. Majority of the items are way out there for me but the solid pants/button downs and tuxedo jacket are NICE. I want them so bad haha

I can't stand the lines, as well. I get really stressed. And I wear the XS size & strangely it's really difficult to find it here. I'm dying to get the long red dress but I doubt they'll bring it in Greece.

Thanks, honeycombchild ! I'll have to see for myself. I've never been interested in a collection before; so, this is kind of exciting. Well, I would've loved some Sonia R, but my hometown didn't have an H&M at the time.

Remember the golden rule of all collections like this:

You have elbows for a reason.

fer19do, depending where you live, if its a fashion city or not you might have to go super early. I live in Toronto and I have to be there two hours early to get a decent spot. 3 hours would be ideal for me.

Also, you HAVE TO line up. You line up outside the store first of all. Once in line, staff will give you a bracelet telling you when you can shop the collection. This way, its not complete utter chaos that everyone's shopping it at once. For mens, its free game.

Tip, don't think grab, hoard, and go to a corner with your selected pieces. Then decide.
