Vogue China July 2015 : Kendall Jenner and Kris Wu by Mario Testino

What a safe cover. Where's the creativity?

Kendall is dead in the eyes, the focus is all on the male model

I think she actually looks great here (her first Vogue cover!), not much is asked of you in a shot like this. And Testino obviously went for a safe choice. I would prefer less Testino at Vogue China, the better!

Well well well After the Lucky Blue Smith for HB China Another publisher decides to use male celebrity to sell magazines instead of actual great fashion image This would be the most annoying cover for years to come for me

I quite like the look of this...I'm possibly one of the few people who doesn't completely detest Kendall as a model. Curious to see the HQ but would probably have preferred it if she was on her own.

Kendall certainly looks nice. Although she continues to fall flat for me facially. In total I'm disappointed by this all together, but only because of Kendall but the idea in general -- the photographer, Kris, styling, background. VC usually is my favorite. Vogue Taiwan did this slightly better, yikes.

The cover does nothing for me, Testino is boring and Kendall is not a good model.
However VC does produce many great editorials, so there's still hope for this issue.

Kendall looks like Sui He at the first glance, and Wu does nothing to this cover.

It's a nice cover and amazing that she got her first Vogue cover, wonder if she'll be able to pass Kim's 3 as the year continues.

It's not a bad image, but both of them just fall flat. Like they didn't have any chemistry or anything. Dead in the eyes (like always) and that akward hand on the shoulder. Like she didn't really want to embrace him.

Good to see she got a Vogue cover.

Overall I like the layout of the cover, safe, but stil like it. As for Kris & Kendall, they add nothing. Typical of Kendall, deer in front of the headlights look, she's just too one-dimensional. I'm surprised photographers and stylists don't recognize this but then again, the name is selling so must not matter. Sad.
