I love the cinematic vibe and I always like dark covers for Spring but imo this doesn´t work as a cover, I don´t think it will stand up on a newsstand. The main problem is too much depth of field imo. I´m looking forward to the editorial though

The cover ed is fantastic actually, Karen is such a star, and she fully embodied "Ginger"-esque dancer here. Some of the shots are truly beautiful.

^I really like the cover and the ed, it's a fully realised and well executed cinematic concept, Karen is committed and delivers.

I think because of the past few back to back dark and lackluster covers/edits, this may seem like another, but it is much better. Hopefully there will also be some other great eds inside.

I really liked the 20s feel of the editorial BUT there's something wrong with the end product. It looks like it was done by some up and coming photographer and not Meisel. There's something really wrong with the photos.

Excited when reading Karen's name and therefore expecting red hair, maybe a close-up with a lot of red hair and therefore the result is disappointing, so flat, no vibrance especially for spring.

Karen perfectly embodies a glamourous screen star of the 20s and the blonde hair suits her well there. She and Christopher Niquet make a great pair.
The cover is rather underwhelming compared to the ed. As Karen has been rarely working as a model lately it was a pleasant surprise that she graced another VI cover, but the result was kind of disappointing. The ed makes up for it.
