Vogue Italia August 2025 : Hailey Bieber by Mikael Jansson

Just looking at this reprint is enough to see that this magazine is a joke - no further comment needed.

Nadja's cover must be inspired at the same time by Newton. If I look at it for the first time I would think it's him, ha. But I agree it's legendary by its own. I doubt this was on Tonne's or Jansson's moodboard. It was made for US Vogue and using this by the end of summer seems rushed, as a last minute option. A cover like this only belongs to May or June. After that the joke speaks alone.

I actually like this cover a lot, but it is very disappointing for Vogue Italia to do reprints from other editions, just bring Meisel back, he knows what to do

Seems that they spent all the budget for last month’s cover story hahaha

Digital issue showing 150 pages, print count 144 pages.

There's an interview with Claudia Schiffer near the front, with old images of her in Rome from 1994 taken by Arthur Elgort.

In the main editorial section, the Hailey reprint is followed by the female designers reprint, then the Dan Jackson "glam" reprint with Devyn etc, SOUL TREKKING by Luca Campri seems new to me, then another reprint of the US Vogue story with Scarlett White etc, and that's it.

I like Karolina but this is so uninspired...bad team casting...

I think I've seen this film before and I didn't like the ending

British Vogue September 1994- Nadja Auermann by Nick Knight

God— Nadja was such a chameleon extraordinaire. She always looked so different, even unrecognizable, without ever being forced; Going from Marlene Dietrich to Debbie Harry so effortlessly (tho she looks a tad r*tchet on that cover). It’s still such a joy to look back on her work all these years and only with TFSers’ identifying that it’s Nadja, do I realize that it’s her LOOL They really don’t make them anywhere close to like they used to anymore.

Anyway, as far as reprints go, this was always a decent shoot— only because of Mikael and the true star of the story: The home and the landscape. Liz’s Bazaar always produced these sorts of architecturally-strong imagery: I remember one with Kate, and as graphically-gorgeous as the home was, Kate was the star: the sole, living and striking beauty that stood out. I suppose there are people out there that like Hailey, but it amazes me how a young woman looking at least 10 years older than her age (… and I can’t unsee Mullet’s observation that she does resemble a young Donald Trump in a certain light…), and with no presence to boot, is considered a top model. That’s the problem with these models in 2025: No presence, no impression, no aura. Can’t imagine replacing Nadja with anyone else in her shoots and campaigns since her presence is so strong. Her image burns into my mind.

The strongest imagery from this issue is the single-page ad from Armani’s A/W campaign that comes appropriately at the very end: Saving the best for last.

Karolina's ed is more suitable for being a cover story. It's more August than the actual one. Is this original or shared? I have the feeling I will find it in Vogue Spain as well.

It looks like Vogue US. Something Anna would do and think it's edgy.

It's original.

However, I think the ed is a complete waste of Karolina who is one of my new generation's fave!
Mine as well! She would have been a perfect Meisel cover girl if Franca reign continued to this day. Agree a bit with the ed. It's more ELLE magazine than edgy Italian Vogue.

I don’t know if its the same published in us edition but i saw it today. The karolina’ed is a waste of pages….and the rest of the issue totally meh…
