Just flipped through it, and I have to say it's such a great issue. Emanuele just follows the classic VI style laid by Franca. Just judging by the contents, it's difficult to realize that this magazine is under a new editor-in-chief. Maybe this is just Emanuele's first issue and he doesn't dare to take the risk of making changes.. Anyway this is a good start!(The cover story is the worst part.)

. The editorial is even worse. Satire aside (if it even was supposed to be satirical at all), it's so bad. On another thought, it now looks to me like this was supposed to be a reactionary approach to the 'see now/buy now' concept? Luxury fashion at your fingertips, 'I want what I want when I want it'. Still terribly executed, I'm afraid. I personally would have kept the setting and layout, but have the models pose in OTT HF poses. That would have had a more HF meets crass commercialism vibe than what we see here.

E-comm models are much, much better than this Lulu. Just look at how awful she wear the Chanel, Margiela and Saint Laurent looks. The backshots are the worst for me, so unflattering with the skirt hemlines. Lucklily there will be other models.
