So CLASSIC US Vogue / vintage Harper's Bazaar and old Italian Vogue covers = MEISEL nailssssssss it every time = fashion god. This covershoot gives me old Hollywood 60's covers while on her British Vogue cover she looks like an 80's almighty beautiful icon : stunning!!! I wonder what's STILL up between Meisel and Anna coz it would have been a coup to have all 4 original top Vogues to get Gaga on their covers. I hope Vogue France will be good with Aya. I have big expectations.

I must say that I am still completely astonished after initially seeing the cover on Instagram over 2 hours ago. I can not recall the last time I felt such a rush of excitement over a magazine. This looks incredible! I love it when he copies Penn, he's so damn good at it and we are all in desperate need of some Penn-esque glamour. Gaga looks absolutely spectacular on each and every preview I've seen so far and it looks like it's about to be my favorite editorial of the year. This cover itself is the best thing that happened to Vogue Italia since that spectacular debut with Grace Elizabeth for Farneti's first issue in 2017. I absolutely can't wait to get my hands on this! An instant must-have!!

If this dreaded change at CN means we get to see Steven Meisel's work more consistently, I'm all here for it! Second month in a row... it sure is a Christmas miracle!

Wow. I am in love with this! I've been waiting for this moment where Gaga would be lensed by Meisel and here it is! And it did not disappoint. And the fact that Meisel is back at VI! Thank God. I've got to say this global strategy by CN is kind of doing some wonders, huh. Lols.

The editorial is equally as good as the cover. Each shot of Gaga is cover material. And I am echoing what @aracic has said, Meisel surely knows how to evoke the Irving Penn vibes in a shoot. And I think he's the only who can do it perfectly. #FightMe Lols.
